We are a family run business based in Kirkintilloch, offering dog walking and pet sitting services in:

Whether you are out at work all day and your dog is home alone or are unable to give your dog the long walks it needs, woof for walks is here to help!! We offer tailored walks to suit the individual be it early morning walks, evening walks or part of our group walks which take place in the morning, lunchtime and afternoon. We can also visit your dog in your home to let it out in your garden for its needs and make sure its got plenty of water and a nice treat to keep it happy until you return home.Â
If you have recently got a puppy but work demands mean that it is home alone we offer a puppy visiting service where we will play with it, feed it and let it out in to your garden to do its business or take it for a short walk. Â
We also run a pet taxi service which takes you and your pet to the vet or groomers and then drops you both at home.
If you are away overnight or on holiday and want to keep you your cat or small animal in he surroundings it’s used to and comfortable with then we also offer a home visit service.
We will visit you in your home to meet you and your pet and to discuss any special requirements you or your pet may have and the first walk is free to make sure you and your dog are happy with the services we offer.Â
About Us
Having owned dogs all our lives, we decided to change our lives and set up a dog walking and pet sitting business. Our current pets are a one year old cockapoo called Barney and a guinea pig called Fluffy. We have had a variety of pets in the past ranging from stick insects to lizards, hamsters to budgies so are adept at caring for all animals.Â
Allan an ex civil servant and Karen, live in Kirkintilloch, we have 3 children ranging from 2 years old to 12 years, the oldest being very keen to walk the biggest dogs possible and the youngest keen to feed them as many treats as possible!!Â
Karen and our oldest son can be seen regularly at the Waterside Dog Training Club along with Barney as a member.
We have both been Police checked and are fully insured for your peace of mind. Â
