About us
Welcome to Sarah’s Pet Services.
We are located just a couple of miles east of Elgin in beautiful rural surroundings. Sarah’s Pet Services is owned and run by myself, Sarah Young with the indispensible help of my wonderful team, Lisa, Sam, Lianne, Simon & Estelle
Since opening in 2017 we have proved to be a very popular pet services business. Covering Fochabers to Elgin to Lossiemouth we offer dog walking in groups or solo walks, pet pop in visits for puppies/older dogs, cat/small animal visits to care for your pets while you are away and horse care visits. Fully insured, we offer a free meet and greet visit prior to carrying out any care for your furbabies.
In 2019 I decided to pursue my dream of having dog kennels, where I could offer exisiting and new customers a safe and comfortable place for their dogs to stay while they are away. I wanted to create a peaceful surrounding with emphasis on regular attention and proper exercise for my doggie guests. We have 2 blocks of 5 spacious kennels each with their own runs. Each dog is let out of their kennel 4 times a day and we are lucky to have a lovely onsite walk where we take the dogs twice a day for their walks. In addition, we now have an onsite 2 acre secure field for dogs who aren’t allowed off lead to run and play in. I recognise every dogs needs are different, therefore I offer two packages depending on amount of exercise you wish your dog to get. Chloe from Tidy Tails Dog Grooming has now set up shop with us too and is currently taking on new dogs for grooming. Please contact her directly on 07465 962902 to book your dog in!
Dog Walking
We offer dog walking on both a regular and ad-hoc basis and cover Fochabers to Elgin to Lossiemouth, and everywhere inbetween! Fully insured and highly experienced you can be rest assured we will look after your dog like our own. We offer both group/socialisation walks for those dogs who are allowed off lead and good with other dogs, or solo walks for on lead, nervous or reactive dogs. Although we do walk dogs together they are always travelled separately. Our vans are fitted out with large individual sections so we know they are safe and comfortable whilst travelling. We offer a free meet and greet visit before carrying out any walks so we can meet your dog/s and yourself first, and complete the relevant paperwork. All dogs are walked on a solo walk initially until we get to know them and them us. Group walks are £11.50 per dog, 2 dogs from same household is £16.50 and Solo Walks are £15. Spaces are limited so please get in touch.
Pop In Visits
These can be for puppies/older dogs who aren’t able to go for long walks. Instead we can offer a short walk out from your home, playtime, toilet breaks etc. We can also offer these for cats/small animals while you are away so you can be safe in the knowledge your pet is being properly cared for in the comfort of his/her home. And while we are visiting we can also put out bins, water plants etc. Please just let us know and we will try our very best to accommodate. Visits are £8.50 for up to 30mins. Discounts applied for multiple visits.Â
Horse Care
Experienced in horse care, I currently have 4 of my own horses and know how difficult it can be trusting someone to care for them when I am away. From feeding, turning out/taking in, mucking stables to poo picking fields we can help. Again I come out and meet both you and your horse/s first so you can show me exactly what you require. Visits are £10 per visit with discount on multiple visits, depending on location. Please note for insurance purposes I cannot ride/exercise/lunge any horses.
