About Us

Joanne McKinlay

Joanne has many years experience working as a dog walker as well as working with animals in other sectors.

She hold a Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants and a Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy.

Joanne founded The Dogs Paws and is dedicating her skills and experience to provide a professional pet care service to local pet owners.

Dog Walks

We may transport your dogs safely in a clean, air conditioned vehicle to and from walks.
We use a portable washing system to clean muddy paws after our walks and dry the dogs with clean towels before popping a dog robe on them to ensure they are as dry as possible on return to their home.

We will refresh water bowls to make sure all dogs have clean, fresh water available after their adventures.

We have our own leads, collars and ID tags if required.

We use an app to book and track our walks and visits. After each appointment you will receive a visit summary which will include photos of your pet and a map of where we have been so you can keep track of how much fun they have been having.
At The Dogs Paws we know that enrichment is just as important as physical exercise so we always encourage engagement in enriching games and activities so that your dog will go home happy and content.
