Woof Woof Walkies are pleased to be able to offer their clients a life time of knowledge and experience in pet care:
Brought up in a family of pet lovers, it was somehow inevitable that I would want to spend my life surrounded by animals.
My former years were spent loving and caring for dogs, cats, budgies, rabbits and guinea pigs…to mention but a few.Â
Whilst growing up, I think we truly exhausted the full list of domestic pets possible…. latterly, we even added four horses to the list!
As a teenager, I followed the same direction as my parents, into showing and breeding dogs and, like them, became a judge during the 1980’s.Â
It was therefore no surprise to anyone when I set my sights on opening a family pet care business. Consequently, I opened a five-star luxury cattery… a business I was proud to have created and one which afforded me the privilege and pleasure of winning The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust Young Business Person of The Year during the 1990’s.  Â
Shortly after that, I extended my hobby into cat showing and breeding and had many pleasurable years in the show ring, winning several major and national accolades…my highest achievement was without doubt winning overall Supreme Exhibit at The Supreme Cat Show 2016 at The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham…an achievement most breeders can only dream of!
Woof Woof Walkies offer both group and solo walks to clients within Ayr and surrounding areas. We have specially created a walking service that will suit the needs of people with busy schedules and can assure you we will:
A walk is very much a major highlight in any dog’s day therefore Woof Woof Walkies offer both group and solo walks dependant on what is best suited to your pet.
We only ever walk a maximum of 4 client’s dogs in any group walk and where possible, we try very much to match up size, activity level and personality of your dog in order that they fully enjoy their time out with us.
Solo walks and/or shorter walks can be organised for puppies or dogs with special requirements …perhaps they may be elderly, shy or just don’t enjoy mixing as a group. Â
Nowadays, dog walking services are required due to the many different time restraints we all have…perhaps you work full time, or your job involves you being away from home for lengthy periods or, it may even be that you are recovering from illness or injury, whatever the reason Woof Woof Walkies can help you.
Prior to booking our services, a free consultation will be required. This will allow us to meet both you and your pet and assess your dog’s requirements. At this point, please mention if your dog has any known health conditions. Â
The health and wellbeing of your dog is extremely important to us, therefore please note, If booking a group walk, your dog should be fully vaccinated…their vaccination certificate should be shown to us during your initial consultation. Please note, puppies cannot be walked until 7 days after their final vaccination.
All dogs must wear a secure collar, an i/d tag and be micro-chipped.
Dogs will only be walked off the lead with the owner’s prior written permission and only after they have completed their Woof Woof trial period. Â
Our dog walking service offers walks throughout the day to suit your specific needs. We provide secure leads, poo bags and give a paw wash and towel dry if required.
Dogs are carefully transported in an air conditioned, modern and reliable dedicated pet transport vehicle which has been specially fitted with custom made safety pens.
Woof Woof Walkies are fully insured by Cliverton Insurance as well as being DBS checked for peace of mind. In addition, we are also trained in pet first aid.
