​Welcome to my small pet pampering and boarding page which aims to help with your small pet’s care in Powys (near Llandrindod Wells / Rhayader). My name is Fiona and I am very experienced in small animal ownership, handling and care.

Does your guinea pig need a bath? Do you struggle to cut your rabbit’s or guinea pig’s claws? Worried about cutting too much off? Don’t want to take up the vet’s time with a non emergency appointment? Scared you will hurt them? Don’t want them to scratch and kick you?

I also offer a mobile claw/nail cutting service for guinea pigs and rabbits, please get in touch for a quote for my travelling costs. I’ve had visits to Llangurig, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells and Rhayader so far…..

Appointments are available seven days a week between 9am and 6pm. I am fully insured.

Bathing

Guinea pigs are prone to skin problems and should be bathed every few months in shampoos formulated for them.

Choose from either cleansing Posh ‘n’ Go shampoo, or Lice ‘n’ Easy anti mite shampoo. Grease gland cleaning for boars is also included when they are bathed.

I offer a 20% discount if you bring two or more guinea pigs for bathing treatments at the same time.

Grooming

Grooming, fur trimming and removal of matts for guinea pigs and rabbits.

This is especially important for longhaired guinea pigs and rabbit breeds such as lionheads and lion lops.

Claw Cutting

Claw/nail cutting costs just £5 per guinea pig or rabbit and is very important to avoid mobility issues, joint problems and also sore hocks in rabbits.

This service is also available on a mobile basis, simply provide me with your postcode for a quote for my travelling costs. Claws are cut in the safe environment of my own vehicle outside your property.
