My name is Michelle and I live with 4 dogs, Barney, Harry, Ivy and Cherry along with two rescue cats and my husband Glenn. At Barneys Buddies the safety, welfare, health and happiness of your dog is always my number one priority. My aim is to ensure your dog lives it’s best life.
Dogs have always been the most important part of my life and I have lived with a dog from being born. Roll on 50 years, living with 4 spaniels running a doggie day care, dog walking and home boarding business, dogs literally are my life. My spare time is spent walking my dogs and training my dogs to compete in agility. Â Holidays are always with my dogs in a dog friendly cottage or away for the weekend competing in an agility competition.
I have ran a successful Home boarding, Dog Walking and Doggie Day Care business for over 8 years. I have a wealth of knowledge and skills from attending in person dog training courses, training camps and specialised training over many years.
Training courses I’ve attended include Interactive play, Scent work, Obedience and Rally, Hoopers, Dealing with Challenging dogs, Canine first Aid, Canine Massage Therapy, Games and Concept training and Dog Agility, to name a few.
I offer a home based Dog Day Care for small and medium sized dogs. Your dog will be welcomed in our home and will spend the day with other Barney’s Buddies in a safe, friendly and calm environment.I also have limited home boarding spaces available. For both Day Care and home boarding your dog will need to be assessed to ensure they will be happy to stay in this environment.I am fully licensed by Durham County Council to board up to 3 dogs at one time.
