Pawfect Trim

Hi there, I’m Sam of Pawfect Trim. I started this business more than a few years ago, the name actually stemmed from a portfolio idea I had while sitting my City & Guilds Level 3 qualification. The play on words, the idea of the ‘Perfect Trim’. I was quite fortunate to have a very willing subject to hone my skills on within my first dog, Glen; god bless him. It was during this time that I managed to practice on some friends dogs, then some friends of a friends dog, until I was running around providing a mobile service. I did the mobile service for a while, even dropped into a few kennels to give my Pawfect touch; all the while the feedback was building and word of mouth was fantastic.

I decided to run my business from a more permanent base and in 2014 Pawfect Trim opened its doors up to the fantastic people of Teesdale offering a salon dog grooming experience. Since then I’ve started an equine rug washing business that i do in-between dog grooms. 

I’m fortunate to have found a job that allows me to work with animals, I love the countryside and competing with my dogs and horse. I’m extremely passionate in what I do, this certainly shows in my work. Drop on by  our shop to see the fantastic work we do, the kettle is always on and we certainly don’t bite!
