“In 2007 I graduated from Liverpool University as a veterinary surgeon and moved to Cornwall, where I have lived and worked ever since. On my first day in my new job, I re-homed Timber, a very nervous border collie. Many pets followed, but it was Timber who first taught me how best to care for nervous patients, a topic that I will always be passionate about. Now with the support of my vet nurse wife, and our young family, we are very excited to open our own small animal veterinary practice. So, with our total focus on the highest standard of care and happy patients, we welcome you to Cornish Paws.”
Practice Facilities
Parking
Situated off the large car park for Penryn Rugby Club, we offer a huge amount of free parking directly outside the practice for all of our routine opening hours. When required, out of hours, there are 3 dedicated spaces directly outside the vets practice which will always be available for our clients.
Courtyard
With a large contained courtyard outside the practice we encourage any patients who might prefer to wait for appointments outside the practice to use this facility. We find it really helpful for any nervous dogs and we are even happy to offer outside consultations where appropriate.
Waiting room
We have a large waiting room and we ask all owners to respect the separate canine and feline waiting areas, in order to minimise stress for feline patients who generally don’t like to wait next to the more bouncy dogs.
Disabled access
Our practice has full disabled access including a disabled toilet.
