About Pawton Stream Cattery

The cattery itself overlooks landscaped gardens providing a wealth of interest, including birds and wildlife to stimulate and entertain your cat.

Our aim is to provide the very best care and attention for your cat, ensuring their stay is one that they will enjoy and benefit from in very comfortable surroundings. We endeavour to cater for every need, providing you with the peace of mind that your cat is being properly cared for whilst you are away.

You are most welcome to come and inspect the premises, meet ourselves and our boarders, without prior arrangement, at any time during opening hours.

Pawton Stream is also the home of Flojac British Shorthairs.

Accommodation

Your cats accommodation are individual spacious full height chalets, which are insulated and have thermostatically controlled heaters, a window shelf to watch the world go by, each with access to their own covered run with shelves and scratch posts overlooking landscaped gardens.

There is a generous space between each run so that, whilst each cat can see its neighbour, there can be no direct contact. They are serviced by a covered security corridor with double entry doors for added security. All chalets are built to accommodate up to two cats sharing or we have two family units (up to four cats from the same family sharing).

Bedding is provided, but we are happy for you to provide your cat’s favourite cat bed or blanket that they are familiar with, smelling of you and home enabling them to settle more quickly.  Please ensure this is clean and suitable to be laundered should the need arise.

Each pen is swept and wiped down daily with an animal safe disinfectant to ensure the cats surroundings are as clean as possible. Each pen is vacuumed, hosed and disinfected thoroughly after each departure.
