A warm welcome to Dog Walkers of Davenham. We are a family run business dedicated to lending you a helping hand with your pets to ensure they stay fit, active, healthy and happy!

We understand how much you love your pets and that their best interests are top of your priority list. That is why we are here; to provide first class care for your pet when you can’t and it goes without saying that we will cherish your pet as much as you do.

We offer dog walking, pet sitting, home visits and pet taxi services all at competitive rates. We offer our services seven days a week and during unsocial hours for those who work shifts or find themselves in strife unexpectedly.

We are a passionate team of five experienced dog walkers with two modern dog walking vans which have been professionally fitted with custom made dog cages to ensure your dog travels safely and comfortably.

About Us

I’m Ann and I’m delighted to have taken over the DWOD family having worked with them for the past two years. I live in Hartford and have 2 grown up children and 2 wonderful grandchildren who have all inherited my love of animals. I have always been surrounded by animals and my children have grown up with many pets. In the past we have had hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, water dragons, a chameleon, various birds and fish. At the moment we have 4 dogs. A sprocker spaniel called Skye who is a qualified active scent specific search and rescue dog, a labradoodle called Abby and she is at present training for her Gold KC award and has started the basics of agility and my daughters 2 Shih Tzu crosses called Minnie and Disney. We also have a 20 year old leopard tortoise called Timmy and numerous fish. So as you can see I have experience with all sorts of pets and I am also a qualified canine first aider.

Andy has been with us since April 2018 and has always had dogs until recently when his dog passed away and is no longer able to have a dog due to a house move to an apartment. He is an ex-policeman and enjoys walking our dogs to keep fit and healthy.

Chris has been with us since August 2018 and loves to walk our dogs in his semi-retirement. He has a lovely Staffy x Jack Russell called Roo.

Collectively we understand how important our animals are to us and the significant role they have in our family’s lives; it is therefore our aim to ensure our pets are kept happy and emulate their happiness into our homes!
