If you have a pet and require assistance with your favourite furry friend for any of the reasons above, please contact me. I provide a local pet care service to you and your pets, even ones with feathers and scales. I have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured. Based in Chalfont St. Peter, I cover most local areas including Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St. Giles, Little Chalfont, Seer Green, Maple Cross, Beaconsfield and most parts of Amersham. If you would like my services further afield, I am happy to discuss that with you. I offer dog walking, with a maximum of two dogs per walk so they receive quality time, and pet sitting, while you are away, for felines, canines, small animals, birds and even farm animals in a domesticated environment. I can also take your beloved pet to their vet appointments or grooming sessions if you can’t accompany them using my pet taxi service. 

About Me

Hello my name is Abbey. I have always had a love for animals and it has shown through my passion for horse riding, having many pets and people asking me to look after their pets whilst they were on holiday when I was younger. My interest of animals and curiosity for science led me to gain in BSc Zoology. Achieving my degree gave me a deeper understanding of animal behaviour and conservation, and strengthened my enthusiasm for animals and science.

Personal Pet Care is passionate about looking after every animal in our care as if it was our own pet! We have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits and many other small animals. We meet you and your pets before the walks/visits start so we can take all the relevant details for them and they can start to feel comfortable around us for when we look after them.

Dog Walking

If you are unable to take your dog for their much loved walks then Personal Pet Care can help. I will collect your favourite furry friend from their home and take them to their favourite walking place or a new exciting environment. I will always prefer to take them to an enclosed field, park or woods so they can really stretch their little legs. After their fun adventures, I will take them back to their home and make sure their water is topped up and they are settled before I leave them for their well-deserved nap.

Your dog will need to stay on a long extendible lead until I am confident that your dog and I are great friends and they will listen to every call. For insurance purposes, I will also require your permission to walk your dog is off lead during our walks.

Included in the price of the walk is a pet taxi service to a park or woods if it is not walkable. Dog walks usually last for one hour but please contact me if you would like to request a different duration (e.g. an hour and half walk).

If you wanted to save some money for their extra special treats, why not book two doggy pals to be walked at the same time or receive one extra walk free when you book ten walks!

Pet Sitting

Personal Pet Care will look after your pet whilst you are away in your own home where they feel safe and loved.

Pet taxi

Did you know you can order a taxi service for your pet?

Well look no further as Personal Pet Care can take your beloved pet to its vet appointments, grooming visits and other trips that you are not able to accompany your pet to.

I will pick your pet up from your chosen location and take them back to wherever you have requested the drop off to be.

Depending on the duration of the appointment/visit, I will either stay with your pet or collect your pet when their appointment/visit has finished. I will always try to stay during vet appointments so I can relay any important feedback or advice from the vet back to you; however this will incur an additional fee for time spent at the appointment so please let me know if you would like me to be present at the appointment or not when booking.
