Claw & Paw provides a professional dog-walking and pet-sitting service that puts your pet’s well-being at its heart.

Claw & Paw’s owner Brett Salcedo started the business after deciding to quit his almost two-decade career as architectural technician to make his love for animals a full-time job. Growing up in Australia Brett owned a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, buggies, cockatoos and turtles.

Brett and his partner Katya are the caring owners of two cats – Boris & Tasha. Brett understands the concerns that arise when you need to leave your darling behind during business trips or holidays. He is equally attune with your dog’s joy when being taken for a stroll to break the time spent pining for your return from work.

We offer a free consultation visit before we begin any of our services. During this visit we meet your pet(s), register your details and discuss any requirements you may have.

We use Pet Sitter Plus software so once you have registered with us you will have the option to book services using our online booking portal.

If desired, we can text, email or WhatsApp you during the service to reassure you that your pet is happy and safe! This service is included free of charge.

We have public liability Insurance, pet business insurance and are criminal reference checked.

Our cats, Boris adopted from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in May 2013 & Tasha who Brett found as a kitten abandoned on the streets are doted-upon member of our family. We would like to share with you some moments  of their life.

A stress-free alternative to catteries

Cats love their environment and routines and feel safe and secure at home. Being boarded at a cattery – not knowing what is going on – can be extremely stressful for a cat and add to the separation anxiety while you are away.

Have peace of mind on holiday or a business trip by knowing your loved companion is being well looked after at home in the comfort of their own surroundings.

While you are away we will…

• provide food and fresh water daily or during visits you have specified

• make sure that their litter tray is cleaned daily

• clean the area where the cats eat

• administer medication if required

• play with your cat to keep them happy and pampered

• brush and groom your cat depending on their breed (if requested)

• text, email or Whatsapp you updates to let you know how your cat is doing

When visiting your home we can also undertake additional tasks if requested such as watering plants, alternating lights, opening and drawing curtains, bring in the bins and collect the mail from your mail box. This service is free of charge.

Personal attention to your dog

We all know that having a dog is a responsibility. But London’s long commutes and working hours keep some of you away from your pet for five days a week. Claw & Paw is here to help.

Dogs love attention. Be it for a walk, a run in the garden or just some company to break up the day – we know you want to give your dog the best and we will work with you to make sure they get the care they deserve. We aim to keep your dog entertained while you are away so that on your return you are greeted by a happy, contented pet!

Our service

Claw & Paw provides a bespoke dog walking service. We will listen to you and provide whatever you think is right for your dog’s individual needs. Each session lasts approximately 3o minutes and offers a choice of the following or mixed activities for your dog…

• 1 to 1 dog walking on a lead

• A group walk. We can provide this service if we can find a compatible partner(s) that lives nearby.

• A run and play in the garden!

• Simply looking after them and providing company at home. Ideal for puppies

• We will also replenish their food and water when required

• Administer medications

We don’t just look after cats and dogs

We cater for small caged animals including…..

Rabbits – Guinea pigs – Hampsters – Fish – Degus – Mice – Rats – Parrots – Tortoises

Our service

• We will ensure your little family members are fed and watered daily

• We provide cage cleaning if requested on pre-arranged days

•  We will administer medication if required
