OUR HISTORY

TOP DOG Pet Services was set up in 2020 as a response to local friends and animal loving communities who were caught working longer hours from home and unable to give the time and attention to their pets as they would wish to. We’ve gone from strength to strength and today are able to offer a personalised service to many more people and their pets.

Many people have relationships with dogs and other animals but not many people have the opportunity to live, work and play with animals for the love of it. For Five years I had the honour to look after the residents of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and it changed my life forever. 

Battersea is an incredible environment where all the residents have unique requirements. I learned very quickly that assessing wellbeing and understanding personal characteristics were paramount to getting the animals to feel comfortable and confident. I have bought that philosophy to TOP DOG Pet Services and have fulfilled my lifelong dream to work with pets, all day long. 

The philosophy at TOP DOG Pet Services is to ensure your pets have a happy and rewarding experience. 

SERVICES

Training

TOP DOG Pet Services will provide you with the information and tools needed to create a happy and relaxed pet, which in turn creates a happy and relaxed owner.
All training programs are tailor made to each individual pet using industry recognised procedures. 

We offer two different training programmes:-

1. A 5 week contract of 2 hourly sessions per week at £35 per hour or £350 for 10 sessions (10% discount if paid in advance £315).

2. Intense weekend training: 1 x 4 hour training session includes: free consultation, training pack, training tools, full report and complimentary follow up session (45 mins): £225. 

Dog Walking

We provide 1on1 dog walks depending on your dog’s needs. Some dogs prefer the attention of human company more than they do the attentions of their own kind, this is why we specialise in a 1-to-1 walk service.  This service is also suitable for older or less mobile dogs.

All walks are 60 minutes long.

Pet Sitting

At TOP DOG Pet Services we understand how stressful it can be when you need to be away from your pets. Many pets can experience separation anxiety which in turn can create more stress and guilt for their owners. With first-hand experience of working in animal shelters TOP DOG Pet Services will ensure that any period of separation can still be a rewarding one for both you and your pets.  If you are looking for a reliable, honest and trustworthy person to take care of your property as well as your pet whilst you are away then a live-in pet sitter is a great choice. A live-in pet sitter is great for those who simply want the added security of someone staying in their home whilst they are away. You will then be able to enjoy your holiday knowing your pet and property are in safe hands.

Home Visits

These are particularly suitable for small or older pets that don’t need walking but do require attention if you cannot be there during the day. These include new puppies, older dogs, cats and other small pets who would benefit from some human company when you are unable to be there.
We will give fresh water and food if required, allow them to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. This can also include administering medication, cleaning out cages etc,.   

Home Security Checks 

If you are concerned about your home security whilst you are away and would like someone trustworthy to check everything is OK then this is the ideal service for you. For your peace of mind TOP DOG Pet Services will visit your property, alternate lights/curtains/blinds etc., collect and tidy the post, water plants, and feed any small animals.
