Specialising in dog walking, dog boarding and at home pet services including pet feeding and care.

About Us

Sharon’s Pet Services is a small company providing an intimate, personalised service for clients and their pets.

You can feel confident in us as we are:

• Company licensed by Ealing Council
• Hold Public Liability Insurance with Key Cover
• All Walkers are DBS Checked and work under Sharon’s direct supervision

• Dog Van is Commercially ensured, fully equipped and provides air conditioning

Sharon, the owner and operator of Sharon’s Pet Services, is a retired Registered Nurse and after many years looking after people in Intensive Care Units for the National Health Service in the UK has dedicated herself to her next love – animals, in particular dogs.

Sharon’s qualifications:

• Diploma in Professional Dog Walking and Animal Care
• Canine First Aid Certificate
• Member of Association of Professional Dog Walkers – this Association has been formed to make a distinction between those dog walkers who abide by a professional code of conduct and ethics, & those who do not. The Association works nationally with local authorities to promote responsible dog ownership for everyone
• Volunteer at Wimbledon Greyhound Rescue Centre – Rehoming, dog walking and care

We have a set approach and process in working with you and your pets. Prior to any service, we conduct a short complimentary in person consultation to ensure all your questions are answered and we understand your pet’s needs and preferences.

This meeting allows us to create a bond with your pet, and ultimately, helps you to feel comfortable with us and our services. If you decide to move forward with us, we have a small amount of paperwork required for completion which includes:

• Contract of Service
• Veterinary Release forms
• Pet Profiles
• Preferred Payment Method

Dog Walking

Our dog walking service is designed to meet the needs of yourself and your dog.

Does your dog need regular scheduled daily walks? Or a more flexible arrangement to fit into your schedule? We provide solutions to care for your dog walking needs. 

Rates:

Our services are tailored to suit the personalized needs for your pet. The number of dog walks, visits, and all other special requirements needed to give your pet the best possible care are all factors which determine our pricing and our fees are calculated accordingly:

• £13 per hour – minimum 1-hour walk
• Additional Dogs from same family from £9 per hour per dog
• Two walks per day start from £22 per dog with an additional charge of £11 per additional dog from same family

Requirements

The safety of your dog and those around us is vitally important to us so we require that all dogs are:

• Properly vaccinated
• Regularly wormed and given flea treatment
• Provide estimated dates of ‘season’ for female dogs which are not spayed – this may alter service during that period
• Provide information on behavioural concerns such as aggression or problems around other dogs
• Un-neutered male dogs may be provided a limited service

Proof of this and other information is required at initial consultant visit.

Pet Feeding/Pet Care Service

Going away but your dog or cat can’t cope in a cattery or kennel? Do you prefer to have people not know you are away? Our dog or cat feeding, and care service allows your pet to stay at home instead of boarding at a kennel or cattery whilst you are away whilst also providing that extra level of security in ensure your home retains that lived in look.
