We are a friendly, reliable, trusted team of “pet au pairs” offering puppy day care, puppy training, dog grooming, dog walking, cat and small pet sitting in Wandsworth, South West London and surrounds.
We are dedicated to looking after your pets when you’re on holiday / working long hours / just in need of a helping hand.
We have decades of combined experience caring for a variety of different pets including: dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots, budgies, chickens, fish and more!
We love our pets and you can be assured we will look after yours as if they were our own. The safety, health and happiness of your pets are our top priorities – animal welfare is everything to us!
For your peace of mind we are fully insured and have loads of excellent references.
We sincerely look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
Our dog walks are not just a walk in the park – they’re action-packed, energy-burning, sight-smell-and-sound experiencing, fun-filled adventures!
We’ll collect your dog from your home, transport them safely and comfortably in one of our custom-built vehicles to a nearby common and – when safe – “let them loose” for an hour of dog’s delight. Their health and safety is our number one priority, so we do our absolute best to look after them and minimise risks. Their happiness comes a very close second, so we do our absolute best to let them let their hair down. We keep our group sizes small so we can pay each dog attention and interact with them in a way they most enjoy – whether it’s chasing a ball or having a swim or simply sniffing the bushes. Once the adventure is over we can take them for a second round if you like, then wipe them down and deliver safely home, tired and happy!
Dog walks are 1 hour long including any time spent wiping dogs down and sending photos/updates to owners. Walk times are approx. 11:30 and 13:30. If booking both walks we will collect anywhere between 10:30-11:30 and drop off anywhere between 14:30-15:30.
For puppies under 7 months, please see our Puppy Day Care page here.
So you’re thinking of getting a new puppy – how very exciting! But you’re worried about those days you’ll have to leave them home alone… Or perhaps you are keen for them to be socialised, build confidence and make lots of new puppy (and human) friends… Well you’ve come to the right place!
We truly believe that puppy / dog socialisation is critical in developing a confident and well balanced dog. In fact, it is scientifically proven! Socialisation is the process by which puppies learn to relate to people, animals and their environment. It means meeting and having pleasant encounters with as many other dogs, animals, people, sights, smells and sounds as possible. It is about confidence building, by becoming accustomed to a wide range of environments & events.
We feel that when you take on a puppy, you are taking on the responsibility to ensure your dog grows up to be emotionally well-adjusted. Puppies that are not socialised may grow up to be nervous/anxious or even fearful (and fearful dogs may bite!). Dogs who are not habituated with different environments and situations may spend their lives being nervous or even frightened when taken to unfamiliar places. Puppy socialisation should happen early, intensively between 3 – 20 weeks and continue until the puppy is 18 months old.
Well-socialised puppies grow up to be friendly and happy in the company of people and animals and make successful pets. Dogs taken out regularly (and responsibly) as puppies can learn to take different situations in their stride and eventually enjoy going anywhere with their owners, leading to a more enjoyable, trusting and stress free relationship between companions.
Please note all pups will start with 3-4 “trial” days to see how well they settle in. Provided they feel comfortable and if everyone is happy, we have a minimum booking policy of 1 day/week for puppies up to 7 months of age (though our recommendation is 2+days/week). This is purely for their benefit, a good routine, regular exercise and play are essential for puppies’ mental and physical development.
If you have a (small/medium) canine companion and need somewhere for them to go during the day, then look no further. We will transport your dog from home and back safely in one of our comfortable, custom-built vehicles. We are local so they won’t spend ages travelling. We’ll ensure they get plenty of exercise and play time outdoors and at our HQ, giving them loads of love and affection and all the while making new friends!
If you have a larger breed or adolescent/adult dog over 7 months, please see our Dog Walking page here.
If you have a puppy under 7 months, please see our Puppy Day Care page here.
What happens at our dog day care…
We are delighted to offer dog grooming at our lovely boutique @ 524 Garratt Lane, SW17. Our dog groomers are highly trained with a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, so your precious pups are in expert hands! We only groom one dog at a time, allowing us to take a very personal approach to dog grooming. We will give dogs short rests if they are nervous. We also like to send before and after photos and updates to let the client know how their dog is doing.
We feel that dog grooming is not just about maintaining your dog’s cleanliness or looking good, it is also about maintaining your dog’s physical health. Dog groomers are trained to detect a variety of health issues e.g. matting of the coat, skin conditions, fleas & ticks, inflammation, cuts & sores etc. Some very good reasons to groom your dog regularly – and we are here to help!

If your answer is Yes to any of these questions then we are here to help! We know how you feel and we’re with you all the way!
Our lovely founder, Nick Lindsay, has grown up with dogs, gaining decades of experience handling dogs before going down the dog training route. Following his passion of helping owners to better understand and communicate with their dogs, he joined an expert (APDT) dog trainer “Heidi Z” as Assistant at puppy and adolescent dog training classes from 2013-2015. Since 2016 he has received numerous dog handling certifications with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) including: Learning Theory, Practical Instructor, Advanced Dog Training & Behaviour and more. He is a Member of the IMDT and holds an OCN Level 3 ‘Principles of Dog Training & Behaviour’ qualification and continues to study the latest research on dog handling and behaviour, using marker-based, positive reinforcement techniques to help owners to teach their puppies the basic cues, skills, manners and behaviour expected of an urban dog.
Nick specialises with puppies from 8 to 24 weeks of age. He recommends 4 sessions in order to cover the essentials, starting from day 1 with pup. These private one to one puppy training sessions are tailored to the owners’ needs and expectations of the puppy’s behaviour and involve the whole family, emphasising the consistency which is key to a stress free and enjoyable learning and bonding experience for both the owners and the puppies.
