Walking Whiskers Pet Services is a professional, family run business operated by experienced pet owners, Sandra and Craig. The welfare of our clients’ pets is of paramount importance and we provide the quality care they deserve. Our services include dog walking, cat sitting, dog home boarding, overnight dog sitting, small animal care and pet taxi. We have been caring for animals in Runcorn, Frodsham, Helsby, Elton, Widnes and the surrounding areas since September 2008. We are devoted animal lovers and our sole aim is to provide the best service for our customers, and their furry companions.

We cater for all types of domestic animals, with over 250 satisfied and regular customers. Together we endeavour to accommodate your pet’s needs with the utmost attention to detail, including care for your animals whilst on holiday, at work, getting married and all other everyday life events. Your pet will be given plenty of exercise, play, cuddles, and of course, fed and watered. Walking Whiskers is a purely family run business, with no third parties or employees, we will care for your animals personally.

As a result of the experience we have built up working with different breeds of dogs and cats it has in many instances helped us to identify illnesses and conditions in the primary stages which some of the animal’s owners had not been aware of. Continuity of care knowing the same people will be looking after your pets and getting to know them is very reassuring to our customers, many specifically appreciate the level and depth of our commitment in relation to the pets wellbeing and as a result are more than willing to recommend us to friends and family.

Our services include:

• Cat sitting. Cats prefer to stay in their environment and home. We provide daily visits to your home to look after your cats to feed, play, and change their litter.
• Dog walking. We provide both one to one dog’s walks, as well as group walks. We also specialise in socialising dogs with our own friendly family dogs. We aim to suit the walk to your dog’s needs, age and ability.
• Dog home boarding / dog day care. Many dogs become stressed in kennels, and we provide a true home for them to stay whilst you are away. We are licensed by Halton Borough Council to house 3 dogs in our family home. We provide a free trial one night sleepover to minimise stress for your dog whilst staying in a new environment. Our home has become a second home to many of our customers dogs who use this service on a regular basis.
• Home visits We can look after your dogs whilst they stay at home. We can provide several visits throughout the day, including walks. This is suitable for homes with several dogs, special care for dogs that require medication, or dogs that become stressed in new environments or in kennels and are much happier to stay in familiar surroundings.
• Small animal care. Including care for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, birds, reptiles, chickens and many other animals.
• Pet taxi. If your pet needs to go to the vets, or to the groomers, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We have an estate car and two vans so can transport your pet as comfortable and safely as possible. For this service please contact us directly to discuss.
