Set in 3.5 acres and surrounded by farmland Brook House Farmhouse dog boarding kennels, has been re-furbished to the highest standard with all licensing requirements and more taken into account to ensure your dog/dogs stay in a comfortable safe environment.

We are fully licensed by Sefton Council and have received a five star rating, the highest rating that can be awarded to a licensed dog boarding kennels. You can see our licence number at the top of this page. (All dog boarding kennels are required to display their licence number and if unsure you can verify if a kennels is licensed by contacting the relevant local authority who can confirm what star rating and licence has been awarded). We are very proud to have received our latest rating of five star which ensures we meet all standards, requirements and guidelines set by the local authority to ensure we are offering the highest standard of care for all dogs who stay with us.

Previously known as Carsvale dog boarding kennels, and having an excellent reputation, we are a family run business with over 30 years of experience at hand in boarding and looking after your dog(s). We will continue offering the highest standard of care for your dogs in our fully re-furbished facilities.

As a family we are all mad crazy dog lovers and are all involved in showing and judging dogs to the highest level with our own dogs living on site in the family home.

We offer full 24 hour on site care in the grounds of our family home.

Our Kennels are easy to access from all areas of Liverpool. We are 2 minutes from Switch Island and the M57/M58 via the new Brooms Cross, Thornton Relief Road (A5758). Please note you can not access the kennels from the Northen perimeter road. The new road makes our kennels very easy to access for customers travelling from areas including Aintree, Netherton, Maghull, Thornton, Crosby, Kirkby, Waterloo, Formby, Southport and many more areas around Sefton, Liverpool , Knowsley and Lancashire.

We have a purpose built kennel block and Accommodation for your dog(s), ample grounds for exercise and years of experience at hand. We provide a safe and secure environment giving you peace of mind knowing your dog(s) are in safe hands while you are apart. Our facilities are designed to have a homely feel and dog(s) will be cared for and looked after as if they were one of our own.

We offer larger than average sleeping and exercise areas. We also offer family kennels for dog(s) from the same family who want to stay together and share their stay.

Our Services

Short and long term boarding

Your dog/dogs will be accommodated in one of our refurbished kennels all of which have separate sleeping areas and exercise areas and all of which are larger than the licensed recommended sizes. The kennel block was purpose built and is light and airy with natural light coming in from the roof, it is fully insulated to ensure each kennel stays cool during the summer months and fully heated to offer a comfortable stay for your dog/dogs during the winter months. Your dog will feel at home with all the normal sounds of home, the washing machine and dryer running daily along with the sound of the radio and televisions at either end of the kennel block, we aim to make their stay as homely as possible. All kennels have Kuranda orthopaedic top quality dog beds (only the best for your dog) to ensure they have a good night’s sleep during their stay.

All dogs will receive exercise twice daily during their stay with us for a minimum of 40 minutes each day. Exercise is based on the ability and age of each dog and will be discussed with you prior to boarding. We offer exercise in our large fully secure exercise/play areas. Your dog/dogs will be treated as our own pet dogs would during their stay with lots of play, enrichment, cuddles and interaction. We offer a wide range of safe dog friendly toys on site including agility equipment.

Doggy Day Care

Giving you peace of mind while at work, days out or shopping, your dog/dogs will be given lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, play and enrichment. Doggy Day Care is becoming increasingly popular as it gives owners the peace of mind knowing their dog(s) are getting the exercise and socialisation while with us.

Secure Field For Hire

We now have a fully secure field for private hire. You can come along as a family or individual and allow you dogs to play off lead without the worry of other dogs. If your dogs are not great with others dogs or mayby they are a little nervous or you just want them run free in a secure large area then this is the ideal space for you and your dogs.

Pick Up & Drop Off Service

We provide a fully insured pick up and drop off service in our fully equipped company van. If you don’t have access to a car or you would like to take that bit of pressure off before you go on holiday, we will come to you.

Bathing of your Dog

We provide dog baths in our fully fitted doggy shower area. Dogs can be washed and dried and smelling beautiful, ready for pick up on the day of going home. Please enquire for prices and details.

Micro-Chipping

As of April 2016, micro-chipping is compulsory for all dogs. We provide micro-chipping for dogs at a cost of £10 per dog.

Vaccinations

All dogs must have received a full course of injections and the kennel cough vaccination at least two weeks prior to boarding with us. A booster injection and kennel cough vaccination are then required every twelve months thereafter. Please note that if your booster has run over you will require a full course of injections and boarding can only commence two weeks after the second injection has been given. Also note that vets will give different opinions on how long injections/vaccinations can run over the twelve month period and we would advise therefore, all injections are kept to the twelve month period to avoid disappointment when booking.

Please note – it is the responsibility of all owners to ensure vaccinations and kennel cough vaccine are up to date at time of booking in. Unfortunately we can not expect boarding of dogs with out of date vaccinations and owners will still be required to make payment in full to honour the booking.

Leaving your dog / dogs in a new place can sometimes be daunting and so we have an ‘open door’ policy in which you can simply turn up to meet us and view our facilities prior to making any booking.

Once you have met us and had a walk around our facilities you are free to leave without any pressure to make a booking.
