Animals are our family too so we understand how difficult and important a decision it is entrusting your furry family member to someone else’s care, not to mention having a stranger come into your home. Our own furry collective consists of two beloved dogs, Rollo, A Boerboel (pictured above) to whom Chelsey is a loyal servant, and Luna – Roaming With Rollo’s original girl. Rollo is credited with where it all began at RWR. Both Rollo and Luna inspired Chelsey and Claire to pursue a career working with dogs in an endeavor to provide the same love and consideration for each and every animal entrusted to our care, as if they were our own. Providing a home from home experience, your fur baby will travel to and from walks, with plenty of creature comforts in one of our dog friendly vehicles. Favourite blankies or toys are welcomed on board too. Whatever makes your pup happy and content on their dog walks around the beautiful South Manchester countryside, we are happy to accommodate.
The well-being of our clients (and peace of mind for their humans), is paramount. We keep groups as small as possible and ensure dogs are compatible to be walked together. We keep our coverage small too so your dog spends less time travelling and more time frolicking in fields. Fully insured and DBS checked, we are trustworthy, professional, friendly and reliable. You can be safe in the knowledge that when you can’t be there, we’ve got everything covered. The same person will collect and walk your dog, provide regular updates and photographs on our dedicated Facebook and Instagram pages so you can see what they’ve been up to with their doggy pals. We know every dog is an individual and we treat them as such. If you require dog walking, puppy visits, doggy day care or daily check-ins for an elderly or recuperating dog in Urmston, Streford or surrounding areas, why not give us a call, we’d love to chat through your requirements.
If your dog thrives on social interaction and loves nothing more than exploring with some furry companions, then our group dog walks are just the ticket. We love to stroll through woodlands, wander along river walks and feel the wind in our fur as we gad about on far reaching fields. Dogs are only accepted on group walks that fit well with existing dogs and can socialise within the group. Your dog’s well being is our upmost priority and we will carry out an initial assessment on their first meeting and provide feedback.
For that new addition, we can support you in the early months with scheduled puppy visits helping to maintain a routine during the day when you need to be away from home. Providing plenty of play, food, fresh water, toilet breaks and cuddles. Relieving boredom and preventing long periods alone, that could otherwise result in destructive behaviour and separation anxiety. Once your puppy is old enough, they can look forward to lots of outdoor fun while practicing their social skills on one of our group dog walks.
For our senior clients who may be taking life at a slower pace, or those recuperating from illness or injury, we can arrange home visits tailored to your dog’s needs. On a flexible, occasional, or daily basis to provide toilet breaks, a short walk, food and water, medication, and companionship with all important cuddles.
For the more shy retiring type, for rescue dogs that need a little extra time before making friends, or those recovering from illness or injury, we can provide 1-2-1 solo walks focused solely on your dog and any individual requirements they may have. Â
We will collect your dog from home and transport them to a safe environment, where they can enjoy an off lead group walk lasting a minimum of 1 hour. Including travelling time your dog can be out of the house for up to 2 hours. At the end of the walk after lots of ball chasing and play, your dog will be towel dried, provided water and driven safely home. We will settle them in with fresh water, a cuddle and a treat before leaving them tired and contented, ready for a snooze.
We will collect your dog from home and transport them to a safe environment where they can enjoy a 1-2-1 solo walk lasting a minimum of 1 hour (excluding travel time). Having taken your lead on their preferred activities, the hour will be tailored to their specific requirements. At the end of the walk after plenty of fresh air and our undivided attention, your dog will be towel dried, provided water and driven safely home. Once home, we will settle them in with fresh water, a cuddle and a treat before leaving them tired and contented. We are happy to accommodate any other requests you may have.
We will make a 30 minute or 1 hour home visit to your dog or puppy tailored to their specific requirements, with of course plenty of play for puppies and cuddles for all. This can also include a short walk. We can work on simple training tasks and bond with your pup ready for when they are able to join us on our group walks.
It’s the WEEKEND…!! Everyday! Your pooch can join their doggy pals for an active fun filled day out typically consisting of 2 walks. Your dog will be collected from home and transported to one of our hand picked locations where they can unleash their energy, playing with their pals and sniffing out new smells. You can expect your dog to be away from home for a minimum of 4 hours, leaving them feeling dog tired and content until you return home. We have limited availability for daycare so advance booking is essential.
