Welcome to Dashing Deva Dogs
We are here to help you care for your best friend as we understand that at times life can be hectic! Lots of us work full time, have families to care for, jobs to do and people to see which means we may not have the time we need to get home and care for our pets as we want to. We all know that this can result in dogs becoming bored, upset, lonely and destructive due to the lack of stimulation. Dogs can become overweight, suffer health problems and develop issues like separation anxiety, fear and lack of socialisation.
Our aim is that we provide you with a professional, reliable and convenient service that ensures your dog is safe, happy and healthy in our care. Dogs are able to play, run, sniff, relax and make friends in a natural way encouraging positive socialisation and healthy lifestyles.
A Happy Dog is a Happy Owner!
A Little Bit About Me……..Hi I’m Anna
From a young age animals have been my best friends. I simply adore them. I have had many pets growing up including a baby magpie, ducklings, shrews, mice, snails, hamsters, rabbits, cats, horses and dogs. I’ve probably named a few worms once or twice in my time too!
My career path has seen me be a photographer and a primary school teacher. In 2009 I spent a few months in Africa where I was lucky enough to work with the wildlife. I was able to track wild cheetahs, care for orphaned baboons, help in the daily running of an animal sanctuary where lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, oryxs, caracals and jackals find safety from the dangers of human conflict. I set up Dashing Deva Dogs at the beginning of 2017 after leaving my teaching career of 10 years. Previously I had spent 18 months volunteering with North Clwyd Animal Rescue in my free time walking their rescue dogs. I have also volunteered with other dog walkers learning the ropes. I have studied towards my Dog Walking certificate with The British College of Canine Studies, I am CRB checked and have completed a Canine first aid course with Rhodes2Safety. I have taken Molly to agility classes and we have completed the Bronze and Silver award training classes. I currently have lots of pets including hens, cats and a rabbit.
As a previous client to dog walking companies I completely understand how important your dog is to you and the type of service you expect. My aim is that you are happy and you come home to a happy, healthy and tired fur baby who has had lots of fun with their doggy pals.
Walk N Explore – £13
A pack walk that usually lasts over an hour
Our fun pack walks consist of a pick up and drop off service (within a certain mileage) where your dog will have a comfortable ride in our equipped dog van and be whisked off to some of our favourite places in Chester, North Wales and surrounding areas for lots of exploring and adventure. We usually take 1 to 2 pack walks a day – morning or afternoon (not everyday). Fresh drinking water is always provided at the end of every walk. Currently we only have space for small to medium sized breeds.
Weekend Exploring – £15
We offer (subject to availability) weekend walks where your dogs can join myself and Molly on an adventure. These walks are usually over an hour long and we like to explore new places. Weekend walks are smaller packs of dogs and are usually around midday perfect if you are busy all day or have people staying for the weekend.
