Boarding Kennels & Cattery

The accommodation for dogs and cats is of a high standard offering a clean, warm and safe environment.

  • Spacious dog kennels with outside runs
  • Enclosed cattery with spacious pens and individual heat lamps
  • Special diets catered for
  • Elderly and young animals welcome
  • Personal care by Alison and Alan
  • All animals must have a current vaccination certificate
  • All animals insured by PetPlan throughout their stay
  • Local vet on 24 hour call in case of emergencies

General Obedience Training

  • Alan offers classes for all breeds of dog to develop owners’ skills and train dogs in basic obedience.
  • The classes run on Sunday mornings at 11.00am throughout the year.
  • From the first Wednesday in April to the first Wednesday in September classes are also offered starting at 6.30pm.
  • The classes take place on our field so owners are advised to dress appropriately.
  • Dogs should be no younger than five months old and fully vaccinated.

Specialist Gundog Training

Alan runs specialist classes in May, June, July and August for spaniels and retrievers.
These are intensive training sessions and limited to eight dogs and usually start at 6.30pm.
The current charge is £7.50 per dog.

Private Lessons

Alan offers one to one lessons with those owners who want individual tuition.
These lessons are by appointment at mutually convenient times.
The current charge is £20 per hour.

She has had two litters and reports on her progeny are extremely positive.  She will have her last litter in 2019

At Stud

Kohli has proved himself a hard-working and biddable dog on my shoot this season and was very easy to train up to a good standard.
