About us

Greenbank boarding kennels and cattery is a small family business located in between Kendal and Lancaster. We specialise in offering quality care to both dogs and cats looking for a friendly safe environment while they are away from their owners. Because of the size of our small business we can give quality time and care to the animals staying with us. Located in the beautiful Lancashire countryside our facility is a safe and friendly choice for your pet.

About our kennels

We have run our cattery and kennels for over 15 years and have many regular clients some of which have come to us from puppies and kittens!

We are a small family business and have a limited number of spaces for cats and dogs, this we feel allows us to give a much more personal service, we like to get to know you pets, this helps to settle them in and allows us to ensure that they are both happy and well. We also take dogs for long stay and permanent boarding.

Greenbank boarding kennels

Our kennels are fully heated during the winter and on cold days, but are also nice and cool on hot summer days!

They have comfortable beds which are washed and changed regularly during your dogs stay. They also feature individual outdoor runs.

At the front of the kennels we have kitchen area, which houses a washing machine, fridge and bath for the dogs.

We situated in beautiful and varied countryside, which is perfect for walking dogs! Our walks take your dogs through fields and woodland, allowing them to take in the sights and smells, which they seem to really enjoy.

Walking the dogs allows us get to know them and ensures that they are enjoying their stay. We walk dogs twice daily but we can walk more often if requested. Dogs are walked individually unless they are from the same home.

Greenbank Cattery

We have a small cattery, which consists of seven individual cat facilities. Each pen has it own individual outdoor run with views out over the farm and local countryside. This allows the cats secure access to fresh air and sunshine!

Inside the pens are heated bedding areas. We have one family pen which will take up to five cats, the other pens will take up to two cats each.

CatFood

We provide both dry food and meat, but you can bring their own food if you prefer.

Doggie Day care

An excellent way for your dog socialize with other dogs and get plenty of exercise while you’re at work or out of the house.

Day care dogs also get too long walks and some one-on-one attention from our trained staff who supervise Greenbank activities. And when your dog’s done with all that action, he is more likely to be well rested and relaxed later that evening.

Let us give dog that is senior or your puppy extra attention with Doggie Day Care! This service features a special add on that includes our staff administering your pet his medications if needed.

£15.00 per day for very small dogs
