Master Dog offers a unique, intuitive training approach that empowers owners to communicate and interact with their dogs calmly, effectively, and with focus. Unlike other programmes, my personally developed, dog-centric training method has been specifically designed to lay the foundation for owners to tune in to their dog’s heightened senses and read their body language, radically improving obedience, connection, and, ultimately, happiness!

Whether you are a first-time owner with a brand-new puppy, or a seasoned owner experiencing behavioural problems, I will work with you and your dog to encourage a harmonious relationship and build strong bonds using a universal sign-based, language for force-free, dog and puppy training.

ABOUT

I am a lifelong dog owner and lover. From my very first mixed breed dog, Ricky, who was my partner in crime as a baby, to my two current Coton du Tulears, Saffy and Fifi, who are my constant companions and puppy training assistants, and all the dogs in between, I live and breathe all things dog.

Over the years, I found that many traditional dog training methods typically employed negative tactics, including fear and intimidation. These are methods I disagree with. Dogs are incredibly loving, intelligent, and intuitive creatures and deserve to be treated and trained as such. By learning to communicate with them on their level, building confidence and trust, with love and affection, I found that they would learn far more quickly and effectively.

Dogs do not speak English or any language, for that matter, but that doesn’t mean you can’t talk to them; you just need to understand what they are trying to tell you. From the position of their tails to their eye contact, and even their appetites, dogs have many ways to communicate, and I can teach you how to ‘speak’ back to them.

I founded Master Dog and developed my own specially formulated training technique to encourage intuitive learning and communication using sign

language, sound, and focus-based dog training tools to harness their five superhuman senses – sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste.

Everything I teach is based on giving your puppies and dogs enrichment. By training them with love and respect on an intuitive level, your dogs will be happy, sociable, and confident, making them well-trained, obedient, and responsive. Successful dog training lies with effective and calm communication between dog and handler, so each of my training sessions is tailored to both dog and owner, enabling both of you to get the most out of your relationship and giving you confidence in your abilities as a handler, so that your dog becomes comfortable with you as the leader.

From 8-week-old puppies to older dogs with behavioural issues, I can show you that any dog can be trained effectively to ensure an enjoyable and stress-free dog ownership experience.

PUPPY TRAINING

A well-trained, obedient puppy is a fundamental aspect of responsible dog ownership and essential to your puppy’s overall well-being and happiness. Training from a young age will lead to a well-behaved, well-rounded, and contented adult dog and create a harmonious living environment and happy owner!

My private training sessions have been designed to help you build a relationship with your new puppy, working with their heightened senses such as sight, sound, and smell to train them and learn to communicate using a simple, universal sign language.

All training sessions start with a 30-minute phone consultation to discuss any specific requirements and your current puppy routine, allowing me to get a better understanding of your puppy’s age, breed, and personality ahead of our first session and to make any recommendations for essential puppy products, food, and routine to kick off your training journey.

I work with all puppy breeds from 8 weeks to 16 weeks and puppies over 16 weeks to one year by arrangement.

Sessions are kept short, approximately 60 minutes, to ensure maximum engagement of puppy concentration! First sessions take place in your own home to encourage a calm and positive environment in which to learn. Subsequent sessions can occur indoors or at your local London Park – Hyde, Holland, or Regent Park.
