There are many different reasons why a dog walker may be the right decision for you, be it that you’re out all day at work, working from home and needing to concentrate on the tasks at hand, or just to give your dog some extra excercise and stimulation or maybe you like the idea of your dog having a group of friends for an hour a day?
Group walks – an hour-long countryside walk. The countryside walks are chosen locations to give your dogs the best and safest walking experience whilst walking with other dogs. Group walks start at £14 per hour. Discount available for multidog households.
Solo walks – For doggies who love the one-to-one human interaction, or who are maybe a bit older and can’t keep up with the youngsters solo walks are perfect. Please contact me to discuss your dog’s individual needs.
Puppy Visits – Whilst your puppy is young it is important they don’t over do it whilst their bones are growing so we can offer visits throughout their day to keep them company and entertained whilst you’re out. Visits include feeding, little walks out for socialisation, clearing up any mess, basic puppy training and lots of cuddles!
Be it a rescue that’s recently joined you, a dog you’ve had for a while, or a new puppy, I can help with training your four-legged friend. Over the years of dog walking, I have invested a lot of resources into studying modern, reward-based training methods and I am passionate about making training a pleasant and rewarding experience for both you and your dog. I offer a one-to-one training service, tailor-made to meet your requirements.Â
Toilet training, pulling on the lead, jumping up, poor recall and reactivity are just a few of the topics people will contact me about. A few other behaviours I can help teach you and your dog include but are not limited to eye contact, reflex to name, sit/down/stand and staying in these positions.
It doesn’t matter if you have one or five different problems as I offer one-to-one training, each session will be made to meet your requirements and needs, it’s just for you! We can move at a pace that suits you and your dog. One-to-ones are perfect for owners that due to other commitments may not be able to make a class, they are also great for dogs that are nervous or reactive as we can work to their needs.Â
They are also perfect for the early stages of your puppy’s life, one-to-ones can cover any topic you wish. Be it the normal puppy problems such as puppy biting or toilet training. Or if you would like help with basic behaviours such as sits, downs, loose lead walking and recall this could be the answer to all your questions.
One-to-ones are £35 per hour
A one-to-one 30-minute walk and training session combined. I can work on any behaviour problems during this time such as pulling on the lead, poor recall, or focus levels when outside of the house. Training walks will include a pre-walk consultation where we can discuss what will be worked on, and training advice and support will be offered throughout.
If you’re off on your holidays but worried about how your feline friend would cope away from home in a cattery, Just Animals can offer a high level of care for your cat in their own home. Cats are much more territorial than dogs so staying at home can reduce their level of stress.
Cat visits include feeding, fuss, litter tray change and cuddles if your cat wants! Whilst visiting “Mr Miggins” I can also pick up your post, water your plants and turn your lights on or off, just ask!
I can also offer visits for all other pets including but not limited to horses, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and fish!Â
Visits start at £10 per day please contact me for individual prices.
