These are just a few of the characteristics that describe me. I know each animal is different, and I’ll work with yours to give them the specific guidance they need. Whether you’re thinking about getting an animal, have a new pet, or already own a pet with behavioural problems, I am here to help.

Sharing your home with an animal can be a dream or a nightmare. I have two Siberian Huskies, notorious for being extremely hard to train but I believe that with a lot of love, patience and time we can train our Dogs to do anything. My modern force-free training method is full of easy to apply techniques that will give you and your pet a happier life together.

I don’t believe in choke chains, shock collars or physical discipline. I offer Dog Training services with a very simple philosophy. I believe that training the animals of Banbury should be fun, innovative, and growl-free. All animals involved in the process experience the benefits, including the humans involved!

Our Services

It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, and I believe it’s never too late to train any pet. My services are designed with you and your pet in mind, and I believe in working as much with you as with your animal. I’m proud of my high success rate and the level of satisfaction my clients, and their pets, come away with every time – guaranteed.

Behaviour Consultations

Dogs are like people, they can have bad interactions with each other, leaving them with bad memories that cause fear aggression, reactivity or avoidance behaviours. I am here to help those dogs who have had a bad experience, been bitten or frightened by another dog or hurt and scared by humans.

These dogs need gentle care and reassurance in a calm atmosphere to restore their confidence and help them to not see all dogs as a threat.

Each dog is different and will respond in a different way so I 

work closely with the family, creating an individual plan for each dog to help address the issues causing the problem, and work alongside them to rehabilitate the dogs by reducing their fear and helping them become calmer and more relaxed around other dogs. This includes training the family to support the dog by giving him what he needs at the correct time.

All consultations are carried out at your own home and local environment to get a realistic view of the behaviour and witness the family interactions.  

Please note that you may be asked for a deposit to secure your consultation time, with the balance payable on arrival.

ONE TO ONE Training

My services are designed with you and your pet in mind, and I believe in working as much with you as with your animal, giving you both the time you need on a one-to-one basis which gives much better results than group classes.

I offer a one-to-one service,  for dogs of all ages with one owner, working together to improve on their existing skills, or to correct any bad habits that have developed over time, and helping you to take him to the next level.

 I will put together an individual schedule, to suit you and your dog, that will include all you need to produce a

well-adjusted and confident adult and a stronger owner/dog bond.

Puppy Care and Training

Puppies are very special, they develop so quickly and begin learning about their world from the mother dog’s example, but have no experience of their own and approach everything with a clean slate.  

I recommend you begin training your Puppy as early as possible, even at 8 weeks they will learn very quickly, and the earlier you begin the more ingrained the training becomes.

 I provide a puppy pairing service to help you choose the best breed to fit with your lifestyle, and can help with socialisation and training.

At Pawsome Puppy, I create a safe learning environment for your pup, allowing the introduction of new stimuli in a safe and controlled way, while protecting their emotional development and creating a dog who will grow to be a happy, emotionally balanced, and confident individual.

Puppy Training is on a one-to-one basis in your own home and local environment.
