We are ideally located just outside Longridge near Bathgate in West Lothian which means we are highly accessible for guests from all over Central Scotland including Fife, Lanark, Edinburgh & the Lothians as well as the Scottish borders en route to both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
Our 4 acre plot ensures that your dog has plenty of space to exercise, play and relax during their stay here at Robasdan Luxury dog boarding kennels.
When going away on holiday or business, or having to work late you want peace of mind that your other family member is receiving the utmost care and attention.
Why us?
We are aware of the concerns pet owners may have and the anxiety associated with that initially placement of their pets in the care of boarding kennels.
So in an effort to try and dispel this, we wholeheartedly encourage all our prospective customers to come along and meet us.
We would be more than delighted to show you what we have on offer.
Training and competing with gundogs was what peaked our interest in working with dogs for more than just normal good behaviour. In the early eighties Jim was a well respected and knowledgeable trainer in the gundog community.
After a small break from gundogs we stumbled onto the german shepherds world and found our way into showing. This is where we discovered IPO training and have since been training our own dogs to compete in working trials.
Shona’s Pampered Pooches , is a part of this growing family business, and was born from this love for working around dogs so when we got the chance to set up the grooming salon we jumped at it.
Having our own kennels seemed like a distant dream so when that opportunity presented itself, we both grabbed it and so here we are.
We also show and exhibit our German Shepherds in the UK under the ROBASDAN affix and have been fortunate to have achieved the title of Adult Siegerin 2015 with our home bred bitch Robasdan Femme Fatale aka Charley
and we have also made up our first long coat champion British Regional Champion Impranah Zante aka Brodie.
Grooming
We pride Ourselves on the individual care and the stress-free and relaxing space we provide for your pooch.
Our salon is a clean, healthy and safe environment for your dog with all the latest equipment.
From a bath to a full groom, whichever you choose is available.
Dogs will be bathed with premium shampoos, dried with fluffy towels, then blow dried. Clipped to owners requirement and finished with doggy perfume.
Ear cleaning and nails clipped are included in the package.
If your pet only needs eyes trimmed, hygiene clip or nails cut, this is not a problem.
We are able to groom all dogs large or small, young or old and your dog will NEVER be left unattended during their visit.

As part of our service we also offer Nail clipping for £5 which is donated to charity and also Micro-chipping with Petlog for £20.
Kennel Prices
- Charging rates are tallied daily.
- £20 per week non returnable deposit is required to confirm booking
- You will be charged for one full day on the reserved date of arrival and departure .
- No charge will be made for the day of departure, if it is before 10am.
- Charges will be made for the full term reserved on the booking form even if the guest is collected early.
- Complete payment must be made before collection can take place. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
- If you fail to present your pet/pets for boarding within 48 hours of the first day of your booking you agree that your booking will be cancelled.
Prices are per dog per day £14. Each additional family dog £8 if sharing same kennel
AS OF 1ST JANUARY 2022 THERE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN PRICING
1 DOG @ £15
ADDITIONAL DOGS SHARING SAME KENNEL £8.50
(We have limited family kennel availability so please book early to avoid disappointment)
Grooming Prices
- Dog grooming prices start from £20 for a small dog such as : chihuahua, yorkshire terrriers & Lhasa apso
- Medium Sized dogs start from £30 and include : K/C spaniel, cocker & mini schnauzer
- Large dogs start from £40 and include : standard poodle, german shepherds and samoyed
- As part of our service we also offer Nail clipping for £5 which is donated to charity.
If you want your dog groomed as part of your kennel stay please make sure you book in advance as short notice appointments are not always available.
Microchipping Prices
We also do Micro-chipping with Petlog for £20.
