Dog Grooming
Dog grooming is the heart of our business, and we are committed to making sure every pet comes out looking their best with a spring in their step.
We work with the customer to get the best possible results. Our groomers are open to talking before the practise takes place and are highly trained and qualified in the art.
We require bookings for all appointments. More information can be found before making an appointment. We have CCTV in operation in reception, so you can always see the grooming taking place.
Cat Grooming
Cat Grooming is our other heart of business service. We dedicate two members of staff to this to make sure every cat comes out as desired as possible. Handling cats is a little more difficult, but they, in general, are much more self-sufficient and independent than the average dog.
We will discuss with the customer what their ideal result is before any grooming takes place. We tackle all matts and knots and provide a clean, fresh haircut. Dogs might be man’s best friend, but we still love our feline friends.
We require bookings for all appointments. You can also view the CCTV in reception to see cat grooming taking place, keeping in mind it takes place in a different room from the dog grooming.
Dog Grooming – Bath and Dry
With TWO warm wet washes, conditioning and an all-over body massage, this is a wonderful treat for your dog’s health and wellbeing. Dogs just love that refreshed feeling.
Your pet will also receive a full groom with a brush and comb, removing any old hair and debris that is stuck in their coat. (Built-up hair will warrant an additional charge).
After the washing, your pet will receive a conditioning treatment, which adds oils and lustre to the coat.
We use only natural-based products in the bathing and conditioning of your dog.
This service also comprises a light trim on the pads, sanitary areas, and in front of the eyes if required.

Dog Grooming – Clipping and Scissoring
We use the art of clipping and scissoring to offer an attractive and maintainable hairstyle for your dog.
These quick and simple techniques can be used for all breeds and types with a long coat.
This style requires weekly grooming maintenance at home and is available to pets in reasonably good coat condition.
Please bring your dog in every 4–6 weeks for this groom, or every 3 weeks if no brushing is carried out at home.
This service also includes two warm wet washes, an all-over body massage, a groom through removing all that old hair and debris, and a conditioning treatment.

Dog Grooming – Hand Stripping
Hand stripping should be done on a 2–12 weekly basis but will depend on the individual coat, temperament, and condition of the dog.
This method is common in the Terrier and Gun dog breeds and maintains the colour and texture of the coat.
Dogs must have a suitable coat, temperament, and condition for hand stripping.
Commonly, neutered dogs may not be suitable for hand stripping as changes in hormones can affect the coat’s regrowth of colour and texture, making it uncomfortable to strip for some dogs.
Hand stripping can be uncomfortable for some dogs. If this is the case, we will suggest a different technique for your dog. See hand strip simulation for more information.
We bathe beforehand stripping, as hand stripping can leave open pores once the hair has been removed, this can make the skin susceptible to infection.
Please be aware that if the coat is really thick or is harder to pull out, there may be an additional charge.
