PET KINGS UK is a Glasgow & Cumbernauld based pet sitting service established in 2013 that provides care for cats and smaller pets in the comfort of their own home.

We cover many areas – Cumbernauld, Stepps, Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, Kilsyth, Banton & Banknock.

If your area isn’t listed feel free to get in touch but for the moment we only cover up to 10 miles from Cumbernauld due to travel costs and we don’t cover any Airdrie locations.

When we are contacted by anyone outwith our usual service areas we will let them know about another pet sitting company that is highly recommended that may be able to cover their area.

What makes us the most unique business around is that we are the only pet sitting service that strives for compassion over profit, can provide care at any time of the day and night and also provide a free stress relief service for elderly members of the community.

When you book our pet sitting service, a friendly and reliable staff member with many years of pet sitting experience will visit and care for your pet in the comfort of your own home at any time of the day or night as required.

We are dedicated in providing all clients peace of mind knowing that your pet is safe and happy in their own environment and surroundings.

Between our staff we have over 60 years of pet sitting experience.

Through research and word of mouth we know that although some cats do not mind being left in a cattery there are always a fair number that come back a little unhappy that they have been sent to an unknown environment and may also hear other cats crying in distress.

We provide many different services for each pet and customers are always happy to hear and see that their pets are much more at ease being allowed to remain in the home they know and love.

Throughout the duration of our visitations we are always available to be kept in touch with any time of the day or night.

We are constantly uploading pictures and videos to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for clients that use social media and even your mobile if you require this method for privacy along with responses to any messages we receive.

Our clients who are new to using a pet sitting service always come home happy and relieved that they can be in constant contact with a member of staff.

About Us

Pet Kings UK is a Glasgow & Cumbernauld based pet sitting service that was started by two lifelong friends from Bearsden who between them have 60+ years of pet ownership/handling and sitting experience.

For many years Gary, John & Pauline have helped family, friends and neighbours with pet sitting whenever the service was called upon and decided that they should set up business in providing the services to the public of the greater Glasgow area from Bearsden – Cumbernauld & beyond.

We love every pet large or small and give all of our time and dedication to each customer individually so that their loved family member will be taken great care of and happy in the comfort of their own home and known surroundings instead of being sent away to a cattery.

We will only take on the amount of bookings that we can cope with so that all clients pets are well looked after.

Bookings are never accepted just for the sole purpose of monetary gain and will be turned down when we reach our maximum visitation number.

We provide this service at any time of the day and night.

Usually our breakfast shift is between 6am-10am, our evening visits are from 4pm-8pm. These are just a general guide to our visit times and we will provide visits at any time of the day or night that a client requires.

Please note that pets requiring medication at set times will always have priority.

When staff members are out visiting clients homes for any service they will always use discreet unmarked cars during visits for safety purposes. This is to ensure that nobody will know that a homeowner is away and that the home is being unoccupied.

We find that this is the safest option and one that our clients understand.

Pet Sitting

Cats

• Cats will be fed, watered, groomed, litter trays emptied & entertained between 30 minutes – 1 hour.

• Cats that are used to going out can be let out at any time requested and let back in during an evening visit.

Smaller pets

• Smaller Pets will be fed, watered, groomed where applicable and entertained where applicable. Visits also last between 30 minutes – 1 hour.

Services Included

Upon each visit to your home…

• Mail will be moved out of sight.

• Curtains or blinds can be opened and closed.

• Plants and flowers can be watered if necessary.

• Bins will be emptied.

• Flooring will be brushed or hoovered.

• Oral medication will be administered when necessary (preferably hidden in food as this is the option that is less stressful for the pet).

• Free key holding service if necessary.

• Facebook or picture message updates.

Price List

PET SITTING-

Our pet sitting visits can last anywhere from 30 minutes – 1 hour depending on how busy we are with other bookings.

(we have also been known to spend up to 1.5 hours at no extra charge)

We do not charge extra if the household has more than one cat.

VISIT PRICE –

Clients within 10 miles of our Cumbernauld base are charged £10 per visit.

 Unfortunately due to rising fuel and living costs we have reduced the distance we can provide cover for. 

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR-

Unlike many other pet sitting services that charge extra over the whole festive period our prices are only charged at time and a half on these two days.

Please make sure to place your bookings well in advance to avoid disappointment as it can be a very busy period for bookings.
