Be the first to review

Welcome to Aunties On Watch. Here you will find lots of information about our Dog Walking and other Services here in Lanarkshire.

We have lots of different services from Puppy to Senior packages, we even do vet and grooming taxi services. If you cannot find a package that suits you please just ask as we will always endeavour to help or create a package that suits you and your pooch!

At Auntie’s on Watch, we will always walk your dog for a minimum of an hour from when we reach the park, no travel time is included. We will always endeavour to take your dog to a different park each day or whenever your dog is here with us. We only walk small groups of dogs of no more than six dogs at a time. We find this lets dogs play and interact better in smaller groups this makes your dogs walk more fun. We also provide one to one walks for dogs who maybe like there own space when out walking.

WHAT WE DO

Having your pooch looked after when you are at work or busy is a concern for every dog owner, but here at Auntie’s on Watch we remove that concern.

Your dog will have lots of fun while out on their walks with us! We will always endeavour to ensure that we take your dog somewhere different for each of their walks.

You can relax knowing that we will be taking care of your dog will you are busy at work etc. We will pick your dog up from your home and return your dog to your home after their walk once we have walked and dried them. We can even feed the dogs for you while we are there!

Auntie’s on Watch also posts daily updates via Facebook and Instagram, so you can log in anytime to see how your dog is doing. Just follow the links at the bottom of the page.

ABOUT

I’m Audrey Elder and I’m the owner of Auntie’s on Watch. I have been a dog lover and owner for the past 25 years. During that time I’ve had labradors, beagles and spaniels.

I used to work as a Gundog Trainer so I’m very used to the traits and ways of lots of different breads. I was until recently the Area Officer for Beagle Welfare so that meant that I had lots of very troubled dogs pass through my hands be it mostly through no fault of their own. The satisfaction of having that dog stay with you and watch it change character and become more confident and helping to sometimes having to retrain bad habits has been one of the most rewarding times of my life. To watch that dog move onto a new family and see how it’s life has changed has been truly an amazing process to be part of.

So I decided it was time to put all my loves together and that’s how our Dog Walking Service was born!

I’m a true believer that the more you exercise your dog the closer you will be to your pet and the happier both you and your dog will be.

Therefore here at Auntie’s on Watch we will provide your dog with a minimum of a one hour’s walk from the when we reach the park, we don’t count travel time so therefore the whole walk time is just fun time!

If you have a breed who may find this too much or because of ill health or age don’t worry! Just simply tell me how much your dog can do and that’s what we will keep to.
