Reliable, professional, friendly, family run Dog walking & Home Boarding business based in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire.
My name is Alistair (Ally) & I started up Something to bark about when I was changing jobs, previously a chef, this is a complete change for me, a change I wish I had made years ago! Me & my wife love Dogs, we have 2 Chocolate Labradors of our own, 4 year old Tumble & 3 year old Jura who will regularly join the group walks. With Something To Bark About, you will find everything you need. We provide a service that suits the demands of you and your 4 legged friend. Whether it be a daily walk, doggy day care or your furry friend coming and staying at our house while you go on holiday, we will treat your fur baby with the same love & devotion we give to our own dogs. We offer various services, Individual walks, Group walks, emergency let out service, puppy visits, doggy day care & home boarding. GROUP WALKS
Daily, specific Day or one off walks
Come rain or shine your four legged friend is sure to have plenty of fun with us & a group of other dogs.
We will collect your dog & take them to one of our favourite places to walk, where they can get off lead & play with other dogs.
We can guarantee your fur baby will return home happy & tired!
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
One on One Time (training)
Are you looking for extra help in training your puppy?
Is your dog nervous or anxious?
Does your dog not react well to other dogs?
Does your dog have poor recall?
There may be lots of reasons for you to do some one to one training with your dog! That’s fine we can accomodate & personalise training for you & for your furry friend.
DOGGY DAY CARE
Full & Half Days
Are you at work all day & worry that your four legged friend is in to long on their own? We offer a day care service between 8am & 6pm, your dog will chill out at our house with our 2 dogs & any other dog we have staying with us, your fur baby will get walked & lots of play time. they have access to the full down stairs & our inclosed back garden!
HOME BOARDING
NO KENNELS!!
Going on Holiday? Let us take care of your Four legged Friend!
A home from home service, your dog will live in our house with our dogs & be welcomed in as one of our own!
Are you going away and rather not leave your loving companion in a cage at the kennel with other random animals? Then you should consider my in-house care services. For a very reasonable daily or weekly rate, we will happily take care of your pet in my home. We will make sure your furry friend receives a whole lot of attention, play time, and love until you return.

PUPPY VISITS
Daily or One off
Having a new puppy in the house is such an exciting time, however we do understand that there are times when you are unable to be there for your puppy. We can help! We are available to pop in & feed, let out & play with your puppy.
Once your pup has had their vaccinations we can start to introduce them to to al the exciting things in the big wide world, socialising & working on recall so they can join one of our group walks once a older!
EMERGENCY LET OUT
Stuck at work or just held up?
No problem for our regular clients! we can pop in, let your fur baby out, feed them walk them, whatever you need!
