THE HIGHLAND HOUNDS

I am a dog walker based around the Polkemmet Country Park area in Whitburn, Scotland and I offer a variety of walks! I have local walks for your every day walking needs, whether you’re breaking the working day up or you just need a helping hand! These are available as group sessions and as 1 to 1 sessions. I also offer half and full day walks! These walks offer your dog(s) the opportunity to explore Scotland, I can tailor it specifically for your dog, so if they want to bag some Munros or go swimming in Loch Lomond, I can provide that! I also cater to puppies and I am available to do morning and afternoon visits, or even both options!

I offer dog walking in a large majority of towns and villages in the West Lothian and surrounding areas for our local walks – Whitburn, Armadale, Bathgate, Harthill, Blackridge, Shotts, Fauldhouse, Blackburn, Seafield and lots more, just ask if I’ll cover your area!

The half and full day walks are available to everyone and anyone from Central Scotland, so feel free to get in touch about bookings and we can work something out!

WEEKDAY DOG WALKING

My Weekday Dog Walking is the perfect way to break up a long working day or for me to lend you a helping hand! It’s also great opportunity for your pet to learn some basic social skills. I’ll take your pet to a nearby park or trail for exercise and obedience training. You’ll be able to tell after a weekday dog walk, because you’ll come home to a more mellow and happy animal. Weekday walks can be arranged to be 1 to 1 sessions or as part of a larger group!

1 Hour Walk – £11 (£8 per additional dog)
1 to 1 Walk – £17 (1 hour walk)

PUPPY SERVICES

Whether you need me to just pop round, clean up and offer some affection and good company or you want me to take your puppy out for a short walk, I have you covered! Multiple visits in one day can be combined at a discounted rate!

Puppy AM Visit – £8 (£4 per additional puppy)
Puppy PM Visit – £8 (£4 per additional puppy)
Puppy AM & PM Visit – £14 (£6 per additional puppy)

MID WEEK ADVENTURE

Our latest service is the Mid Week Adventure! Every Wednesday morning we’ll be running a 2 hour group walk in a variety of fun locations such as Beecraigs and Almondell Country Park. These are the perfect solution to breaking up the Monday-Friday monotony for your dog, as well as giving you reassurance that your dog is getting extra exercise and happiness through the long working week.

Mid Week Adventure – £18 (£12 per additional dog)

HALF AND FULL DAY SERVICE

The half and full day service is the perfect way to get your dog out the house and in to the great Scottish outdoors! Half day walks will be a three and a half hour hike in the local Scottish hills. The full day service will be 6 hours of hiking and will provide opportunities for dogs to bag Munros, go swimming and socialise with other dogs! I will provide the dog with suitable snacks and water and I’ll provide you with lots of pics and videos of your dogs adventure as well as a certificate if your dog makes the summit of a Munro! Dogs will also be picked up and dropped off by me!

Half day walks are available Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Full day walks are available Saturday and Sunday.

Half Day Walk – £35 (£20 per additional dog)

Full Day Walk – £65 (£30 per additional dog)

SKILLS DAY AND DOG MEET UP

If you’re interested in learning about hiking and climbing mountains in Scotland with dogs, this service offers you the chance to learn new skills and put them to the test! I will meet you in the selected location where we will bag a Munro with others while offering you and your dog(s) the perfect opportunity to meet likeminded humans (and dogs) interested in bagging Munros!
