Edinburgh Dog Walkers

My name is Richard Thomson and I run a dog walking and cat sitting service in the South of Edinburgh. I have run Edinburgh Dog Walkers since 2006 and can therefore offer you many years of experience as well as a friendly, reliable and trustworthy service.

I have a genuine passion for dogs and cats and I have had pets in my family all my life. I currently have one wonderful dog, a Lhasa Apso.

I am genuinely interested in providing the best possible service for your pet and wish you to return home greeted by a happy pet and for you to rest assured your pet is in good hands when your not at home or otherwise unable to care for your pet.

I have public liability Insurance, I am a registered walker with Edinburgh Council and have a permission card to walk in their Public parks and adhere to their Code of Conduct.

Cat Sitting

Avoid the stress of uprooting your cat away from you cat’s home environment while you are away.

Each visit will include feeding, fresh water, litter change, playing with your pet for a while and any special requirements you may have such as watering plants and collecting mail.

Visits are tailored to your cats individual needs.

One to three visits a day can be arranged.

Dog Walking

If you are at work or otherwise unable to walk your dog I can provide the necessary exercise to ensure your dog is mentally and physically stimulated and returns home a contented dog.

Walks are one hour plus free pickup and drop off. Individual walks can also be arranged and tailored to the indviduals requirements.

Dogs are walked in small groups in areas such as the Braids, Craiglockhart and Colinton Dell, Holyrood Park and Blackford Hill.

Any other special requirements such as feeding and administering medication can be undertaken.

Prices

Dog Walking:

Group walk: £13

Individual or Weekend walk £20 for an hour

Cat Sitting: £11 per visit
