I help cat owners in West Lothian who need someone to feed and check on their cats when they are away. I offer home visits so the cats are relaxed and safe in the comfort of their home, therefore you don’t have to worry about them and have peace of mind.

My home cat check visiting service is tailored to you and your cat’s needs. Here are the key elements of my service.

Attentive: I try to ensure I see all your cats every visit (not always possible if outdoor cats). I give them a well-being check, lots of fuss & attention, treats if allowed plus a bit of playtime. I always travel with a cat carrier in the boot of my car in case of an emergency, as well as a First Aid kit. I have attended a PDSA Pet First Aid Training course.

Local: Based in Livingston and covers all Towns & Villages throughout West Lothian.

Individualised: Bespoke service tailored to your specific requirements.

Caring: Cats are beautiful and complex animals. They have their territories and like to feel safe in familiar surroundings.
This is why I offer pet-sitting as an alternative to Boarding or a Cattery as cats can become stressed & anxious.

Affordable: A service that is reliable and offers a high level of care, at a price which is very affordable. Prices are per visit (see below).

Trustworthy: Police checked, Fully Insured and GDPR compliant.
Home Security – Keys not identifiable & kept secure at all times.
All doors locked and double-checked prior to leaving.
Post moved and sorted, lights on/off, curtains or blinds open/closed.
Removable car window advertisements.

Covid-19 Update – All precautions are in place to ensure both parties are kept safe and protected. Masks will be worn during key collections, consultations and safe distancing kept at all times. Prior to arrival I will have hand sanitised and upon arrival I will wash my hands, as cats are not keen on the smell. Minimal contact of surfaces and anything that has been touched will be wiped down on leaving.

10% off your first booking
A major benefit of home visits is that there are no vaccination requirements unlike boarding.

£7.50 Pop-in 15 min home visit
Well-being check, feed, change water, scoop & replenish litter, a bit of fuss. Regular updates from your fur babies. Set alarm if required, open/close curtains, lights on/off, bins out.

£12 Pampering 30 min home visit
Well-being check, feed, change water, scoop & replenish litter, fuss & cuddles, playtime, groom. Regular updates from your fur babies. Set alarm if required, open/close curtains, lights on/off, bins out.

Loyalty scheme – 9 bookings and receive a 10% discount off the 10th booking.

Additional charges:

40p per mile per visit mileage charge may apply to certain areas.

£2 Bank Holiday supplement applies over Christmas, New Year and Easter.

£1 per cat per visit for administering medication including diabetic insulin injections.

Cancellation Policy: A £2 per day non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of confirmation. I reserve the right to cancel tentative bookings if a deposit is not paid within 7 days of confirmation. Bookings cancelled up to 7 days prior to the first visit will be refunded in full less deposit paid. If cancelled 48 hours – 7 days prior to first visit, 50% of the booking cost will be charged. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the first visit will be charged 100% of the original booking fee.
