Are you looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, professional dog walker in Musselburgh or East Lothian? Are you worried about who to entrust the care of your much loved canine companion too? Look no further, we at Campbells Walkies would love to help you. Your four legged friend will be treated like family when in our care and will get to go on some interesting and fun walks in dog friendly, safe locations in and around Musselburgh and East Lothian, whilst making lots of new doggy friends along the way. If your dog prefers a solo walk that’s no problem, or if your dog is still just a puppy and a half hour walk is all you require that’s fine too. We’ll regularly post photos on our Facebook page and our Instagram page so you can see how much fun your four legged companion is having. Our aim is for you to come home to a happy and well exercised pet.

Dog Walking Service

We offer a flexible dog walking service to suit your needs. We are happy to accommodate most requests whether you’re looking for a group walk/individual walk or a half hour walk (suited for puppies). Your dog will be walked in a variety of safe, dog friendly locations in Musselburgh and the surrounding areas. Dogs will be walked for at least an hour and this DOES NOT INCLUDE travelling time.

We will always come and meet you and your dog first as its good to get to know you both. This initial meeting helps us to decide what type of walk would suit your dog best according to their age, breed and temperament. It also gives us the opportunity to answer any questions you may have and to allow you to inspect our insurance and Disclosure Scotland certificates.

Safety

Before setting off on our walk, your dog will be fitted with a high-vis collar complete with a Campbells Walkies ID tag engraved with our contact details. We always carry water for the dogs and a doggie first aid kit.

To ensure all dogs receive the right amount of attention and are walked safely we only walk a maximum of 6 dogs at a time. Your dog will be collected from home and dropped back off safely after a fun-filled hour! If your dog is wet he/she will be towelled dry and left cosy, tired and happy with fresh water and a small treat (if allowed). We will always send you a text to let you know your canine companion is back at home.

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, including kennel cough, and they must be receiving regular worm and flea treatments. This ensures the safety and happiness of all dogs walking with Campells Walkies.

Dog Visit Service

We also offer a dog visit service. This service is particularly good for puppies who might just need let out to the toilet, fed and watered or just require a bit of company.
