Meet your local We Love Pets manager

Tracey has been a Director of We Love Pets Reading for over 5 years.  Tracey has grown up with animals and enjoyed 5 years experience working with dogs, cats and small animals. The doggies at We Love Pets absolutely love walking with their buddies in locations around Reading, such as Prospect Park, Fobney Island Nature Reserve, Thames Valley Park and along the river Thames.

Rather than risky group walks Tracey and her team ensure all walks will have no more than three dogs but will take 4 providing its not from more than 3 households. The motto at We Love Pets Reading is: more time in the parks of Reading than in the car.

Fun, safety and supervision is the same as you would expect in a nursery for children, let’s face it we love our pets and they’re family.

Tracey and her team are all police cleared and fully insured. There is a vet nurse on the team which helps to provide extra peace of mind that your pets are in the safest of hands.

Dog Walkers

We offer our dog walking service throughout the day. Your dog will be walked in a safe open space and will return home, happy and tired. We also provide fresh water, treats and will towel your dog off in wet weather.

Dog Home Boarding

Our home-from-home dog boarding service is a great alternative to traditional dog boarding kennels. Ideal for when you go on holiday and want your dog to be thoroughly pampered while you’re away.

Dog Day Care

Dog Day Care is a place for your dog to spend the day with a friend, play, exercise and relax in the care of a loving home. While you are at work your dog can enjoy walks, cuddles, naps, training, playtime and plenty of attention.

Cat Sitting

Cat sitting is an ideal service for when you are on holiday and want your cat to stay at home where they are comfortable. We can visit as often as you like to provide fresh water, food, make a fuss and check your house is secure.

Puppy Care

We can help you get through those first few weeks and months when a puppy arrives so that you can go to work without worrying. We’ll make frequent visits for regular feeding, cleaning, toilet breaks and lots of fun!

Dog Visits

Our dog sitters provide company and toilet breaks for your dog when you’re unable to pop home and let them out. Perfect if you work long shifts or your dog needs medication, frequent feeding or regular trips to the garden.

Small Animal Care

Small animals need holiday care too! We’ll either board your pets in a pet carer’s home or make regular visits to your pets in their own home. We look after chickens, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice or ferrets.

Reptiles and Exotics

All of our staff are trained to handle and care for exotic pets. If you’re looking for a specialist to look after your pet snake, bearded dragon, tarantula, or any other exotic pet while you’re away on holiday, you need this service.

Pet Sitting

Pet sitting allows you to go away happy in the knowledge that your pets will be well looked after at home where they are comfortable. We’ll spend time with your pet, make a fuss, feed and water them, plus clear up any mess.

Socialisation Walks

If your dog experienced some isolation in lockdown, they might not be as social as pre-pandemic pups. Our socialisation walks are designed to help your dog become comfortable with new stimuli and surroundings, as well as to gradually introduce other dogs and enhance their social skills.
