Allers Farm Kennels is based on Stoneymeadow Road, High Blantyre and has been owned and run by Alan and Morag Reardon since 1991, our well appointed kennels and cattery has a reputation for top quality care for dogs and cats.
We are fully licensed, fully insured and have access to a local vet 24 hours a day.
The kennels and cattery are open all year and are set in acres of parkland and woods in Stoneymeadow between East Kilbride and High Blantyre. Our quiet location provides a stress-free environment for your pets, ensuring they settle into the kennels and cattery quickly, making our kennels the ideal place to take care of your cats and dogs while you are away from home, whether its a few months, weeks, days or even just a couple of hours.
We provide everything your cat or dog should need including beds, bedding, bowls, food and toys. However, although we are more than happy to give your pets any medication they may be on, we are unable to supply these and you must make sure you provide us with enough to cover your pets stay with us.
We can cater for most diets and your pet will be fed the same pet food it is fed at home. This ensures that your pet has no upset to its usual dietary needs. Unfortunatley we are unable to facilitate raw feeding. We therefore stock a wide variety of well known pet food brands along with our own  Allers Farm Dry Dog Food including our very popular Super Premium and Grain Free Ranges
The kennels and surrounding areas are all monitored by a high quality CCTV system.
We also offer a dog grooming service at KUTZ.
About our Kennels
Each dog is individually housed in its own kennel with a sleeping area and covered run. Owners with more than one dog can have their pets kennelled together if required. All sleeping areas are heated to keep your pets warm and comfortable during the cold winter months. Our kennels are modern, spacious and extremely comfortable with plumbed in water meaning your dog has a constant supply of fresh clean drinking water. All bedding is supplied but if you would like to bring an old piece of clothing that has your scent on it you can do as this may help it settle into the new environment.
The kennels are cleaned meticulously every morning using DEFRA approved cleaning products and pressure washers, they are then dried thoroughly and the kennel staff strive to keep all the kennels clean for the rest of the day. Every dog has two walks per day and is individually walked by one of our kennel staff so that your pet will not suffer any potential bullying by other dogs. This often helps pets that are timid and ensures that their stay is stress free.
VACCINATIONS
All dogs must be up to date with their annual booster vaccinations. Proof of this must be provided when dropping your dog off.
If you are unsure of your dogs vaccination status, contact your vet and they will be able to tell you when your dog was last vaccinated. We don’t insist on the kennels cough vaccination, however if you wish to get this done then we ask that it is administered 15 days prior to boarding.
About our Cattery
Your cat will be boarded in spacious heated apartments with large covered runs, which can accommodate a family of cats comfortably. Like the kennels, the cattery is cleaned every morning using “TRIGENE” disinfectant and then maintained throughout the day. Cats should be brought to the cattery in suitable cat boxes or cages. Should your cat be a bad traveller we suggest you cover the box with some dark material as this can have a calming effect, or you could use our transport service.
All toms must be neutered.
VACCINATIONS

Kutz Dog Grooming
Allers Farm kennels has a grooming parlour on site trading as KUTZ Dog Grooming. KUTZ is operated by Lisa
KUTZÂ have invested in the very best washing and drying equipment in order to make the experience for your dog as stress free as possible. We only use professional products for the finest results.
From a wash and blow dry, to a full groom, KUTZ can tend to all your dogs grooming requirements. Please see a list of the services we provide below. The full groom includes, amongst other things – a personal consultation and a full cut styled to suit the breed and lifestyle of your dog, ears and finally a foot and nail procedure to achieve a truly all round healthy result. We will also alert you if there is anything we feel is amiss with your dog
Of course we recognise that there will be times when you wash your dog yourself but for a truly healthy dog we would recommend a professional session with an expert every 8 weeks depending on the breed.
You will be surprised how competitive our prices are!!!

Beagles, Standard size Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Springer Spaniels, Bedlington Terriers, Corgis’, and Miniature Schnauzers etc.
Large dogs – £25.80 per day
Labradors, Dalmations, Collies, Retrievers, Cross Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Airedales, Boxers, Bull Terriers, Pointers, Setters etc.
Giant dogs – £27.60 per day
Rottweiler’s, Wiermeraners, Newfoundland’s, Great Danes, Bernease Mountain Dogs, Dobermans, Greyhounds etc.
Diabetic dogs – £40.50 per day

Cats – £16.20 per day
Diabetic cats – £28.50 per day
