Our idea was to create a facility that we would be happy for our own pets to stay in and where people would want to to bring their pets back again and again.
A place where your pet can relax and enjoy their own holiday so you can have the peace of mind to go off and enjoy your own. Having been doing this since 2005 most of our bookings are repeats and we have made many, many four legged and two legged friends over the years.
We take our security, and that of our guests (and our staff), seriously so during Covid we introduced an appointment system and having found it worked well, have kept it!
All visits to our premises MUST be pre-

Our spacious cat chalets have a heated bedroom with both space heating and personal radiator pad. Bedrooms have elevated levels as cats love being up high and surveying their world.
Each chalets has an attached covered catio complete with a chair ready for that afternoon nap in sun. Owners can bring blankets or soft beds, toys and scratch posts to help make their pet feel at home.

In 2005 our lives changed forever when we moved to Shropshire and Sunnymead Kennels and Cattery. We brought with us two Labradors, a passion for caring for pets and an enthusiasm for hard work.
Sunnymead is set in five acres of the lovely Shropshire countryside on the B4394 between Wellington and Shrewsbury with views to the Wrekin.
Over the years we have remodelled the kennels and the cattery into what we have today. We have cared for pets from the Telford and Shrewsbury area and sometimes ones from further afield.
All our staff are trained in Animal First Aid and Su holds an OFQUAL level 3 award in Canine Emergency First Aid and has successfully completed courses in Dog Handling, Training, Dog Grooming, Micro Chip Implanting and Food Hygiene.
We believe in quality over quantity which means that even though you may see empty kennels we may actually be full. Less dogs and cats mean more quality time for those staying with us.
The world has changed since before Covid and we take our security and that of pets staying with us seriously. Our reluctance for “walk-
