About
Welcome to Upholland luxury kennels and cattery. Since 2013, we’ve been successfully supporting pet parents throughout Upholland and surrounding areas and are very proud to have been awarded 5 stars from our local council for our facilities and outstanding level of care.
Our kennels and cattery have been designed by us personally to the highest specification and to a standard we would only wish our own dogs or cats to stay.
As we are huge animal lovers ourselves we understand how hard it is leaving you dog/cat for a holiday or even for just one day. We therefore welcome and encourage you to contact us with any concerns you may have and invite you to come visit us and take a look around our facilities as often as required, to ensure you are completely comfortable that your pet is in good hands.
We will also stay in touch with you whilst you are away, sending pictures and video updates so you can see him/her enjoying their holiday too.
When you and your furry friend come to Upholland Luxury Kennels and Cattery, you become part of our family.
Kennels
We have two different sized rooms on site. Both types are very spacious, heated, indoor and include their own individual outdoor runs.
Daily walks are included in the price, including the food that we have available on site.
All our staff are very experienced and trained, so we are able to administer any medication or any other special requirements your dog may need during his/her stay with us.
We also have a doggy daycare facility on site too, which is fantastic for those dogs that stay with us that enjoy the company of other doggies.
Security at the kennels is to the highest level and we also live on site too.
We feel it’s very important for all our customers to come and visit us and view the rooms and our facilities before you book your pooch in, so you feel completely happy when you leave them for your holiday! We understand how difficult it is to leave your pet whilst you go away so we are more than happy to have a chat and answer any questions you may have.
We will also stay in touch whilst your away with picture updates of how your pooch is getting on for additional piece of mind!
Please be aware that all dogs who stay with us need to be upto date with vaccinations including the kennel cough vaccine. The kennel cough is an additional vaccine and needs to be administered at least two weeks before their stay with us so forward planning is essential. Staff will request to see the vaccination card upon boarding.
We expect owners to be responsible for the worming and flea treatment of their pets before they are brought into the kennels!

Doggy Daycare
Our daycare is open mon-fri 8am- 6pm and is available for socialising your dog whilst you are busy for the day – whether its rain or shine!
It’s indoor for the winter months, but we also have our own private large exercise fields too, so your pooch can also enjoy the outdoors.
Daycare is a great way for your pup to get to know us should you ever wish to leave them for a holiday or overnight stay. Please see our kennels page for more information on our luxury boarding facilities
This facility is also fantastic for dogs who should experience any separation anxiety from you whilst you go on holiday or simply if they just have some extra energy to burn, and is certainly recommended for young pups to help with socialising.

Cattery
We are very excited to introduce our brand new 5 star cattery. Our cattery was completed in 2020. Each pen has its own very large heated indoor penthouse suite, raised high, with a window for a view whilst lounging. They also have a large spacious secure outdoor area too!
Our cattery is situated away from our kennels and each pen is private enough so no other cats from other families are in sight, yet they have amazing views for them to relax and explore safely and peacefully enjoying the fresh countryside air.
Our cattery would fit more than one cat from the same household in very comfortably and we also offer discounts for multiple cats sharing.

Grooming Studio
At Upholland Kennels we have a fully equipped 5 star studio on site offering a range of grooming options including full body styling, puppy grooming, luxury baths using specialist shampoos and conditioners and nail clipping.
We have all the latest and safest equipment and experienced qualified staff to ensure your best friend enjoys his groom safely.
Our studio is open 5 days a week 9am – 5pm.
