Mosborough Kennels & Cattery is a family run business with over 40 years’ experience.

Situated in Mosborough, Sheffield and within easy reach of Chesterfield and N.E Derbyshire close to M1 junction 30 + 31

Mosborough Kennels & Cattery Accommodation

For your dog:-

We have a number of different purpose-built kennel blocks in different sizes and styles to suit individual dog’s needs.

We have 2 purpose-built catteries.

  • The first block caters for single cats
  • The second slightly different design for families of cats that wish to be kept together (3 cats max)

• All dogs are insured whilst in our care (please note, however, this      doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions)

Dog Kennels

Our kennels are purpose built blocks of different sizes and styles to suit different dog’s needs. All our kennels have an indoor sleeping area complete with heating and an outdoor covered run.

Beds, bedding, toys etc. are all provided though if you wish you may bring your own to help your dog settle in and feel more at home.

Unless you request otherwise we feed dogs twice daily with a mix of a dried complete food and tinned meat, with water available at all times. We also have sensitive food for those dogs with delicate digestive systems. You may bring your dog’s own food if a special diet or particular brand is required.

Before coming into our kennels your dog must have been vaccinated within the last 12 months. Although it is not compulsory, we strongly recommend that your dogs are vaccinated against Kennel Cough at least 2 weeks prior to their stay with us. Please bring the vaccination record card with you.

We have easy access to the beautiful Moss Valley countryside for walks – we find this helps dogs to settle in and get to know our staff.

All dogs are insured whilst in our care. Please note however, this doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions.

Pricelist

All dogs will be charged for the day they arrive no matter what time. There will be no charge for the day they go home if they are collected before 12 noon.

1 dog – £15 per day

2 small/medium dogs – £20.50 per day
2 medium/large dogs – £22.50 per day
(Prices are for two dogs kennelled together)
 

(There will be a minimum charge of two nights board for all short stay clients – thank you for understanding)

Our Catteries

We have an indoor cattery with light and airy chalets complete with a double glazed window so your cats can indulge their natural curiosity.

Each chalet has a sleeping area with a heated bed and higher up there is a shelf where cats can sit and watch comings and goings throughout the day.

Cats are fed twice daily with good quality tinned meat and complete cat biscuits unless you request a specific diet. Water is available at all times.

We have a second cattery for families of cats with heat lamps in each chalet – these again have double glazed windows with views out over woodland areas.

Before coming into our cattery your cat must have been vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu within the last 12 months. You must produce proof of this on your arrival.

Sheffield Dog Rescue

Sheffield Dog Rescue is a small local charity which finds new homes for stray dogs from local council pounds.

They are kept with us indefinitely until a new safe and loving home can be found.

To help promote responsible dog ownership all the dogs are vaccinated and microchipped whilst in our care and undergo routine treatment for worms and fleas. The adoption fee also includes spaying or neutering.

We have housed Sheffield Dog Rescue dogs for the last 18 years and although they are only a small charity they have managed to find good homes for over 2,500 dogs during this time.

Sheffield Dog Rescue are always in need of good clean bedding eg any old towels, blankets etc.
