In 2013, I was the proud owner of Polly and Lola, my Newforest pony and my Weimaraner dog. My world revolved around them, but I found juggling their care with a full-time career and a commute, difficult. I knew many owners had the same struggle. So I made the decision to follow my dream of starting my own business, which would allow me more time to care for my own animals and to help others with theirs.
On 12th August 2013, I launched Hound & Horse offering dog walking services, horse care & horse clipping alongside in-home pet care services.
Hound & Horse has had a very successful and fulfilling 9 years in business and I’ve never looked back. Life has evolved considerably since 2013, sadly my own beloved animals have since passed away and in contrast, I had the joy of becoming a mother in 2017. So the business has had to evolve too and in 2018 I made the tough decision to stop all horse care services.
Today I offer a group dog walking service alongside in-home pet care services. In addition, I also handmake uniquely beautiful dog collars and leads, which satisfies my passion for being creative and my love of dogs too.
I am fully insured to walk dogs in groups of up to 6 and carry out pet care duties. I complete a canine first aid course every 3 years and I am DBS checked.

Exercise and socialising make for a happy, healthy dog!
Up to a maximum of 6 dogs in a group walk. Collected and dropped off in my dog-safe van, your dog will benefit from the opportunity to socialise, interact and indulge in natural canine behavior with dogs of a variety of breeds and ages. Exercise will last for 1 hour.

Going away and leaving a pet can be stressful. I offer a pet feeding service to your home, whilst you are away, be it a holiday, work or just a day trip. Pet visits are a great way to minimise your absence, leaving your pet in the comfort of its own home to receive once/twice daily visits to feed, clean litter trays and provide company. Pet visits are ideal for cats/small animals.
Visits last up to 20 mins.
