Hi there! I’m Eddy Morris, a dog lover and a proud owner of two adorable rescue dogs. They are my family and you can see their cute pictures on the gallery. My wife, Tania (Tan), helps me run this business. We have a lot of experience with dogs of different sizes and breeds, and we care deeply about animal welfare. We have rescued many dogs over the years and given them a loving home.
We are licenced with Worcestershire Regulatory Services 22/06365/ANIACT, for dog home boarding and daycare, achieving the Higher Standards of Welfare rating. We both hold OFQUAL Qualification Level 3 in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare together with Canine First Aid and CPR and have undertaken various courses on Dog Law, Dog Nutrition and Behaviour and Training. A DBS/CRB check is also available. The business is insured with Protectivity. Tan also holds a Higher Diploma in Photography and can also offer photo shoots and loves nothing better than being with dogs and a Nikon camera.
The DogFather Worcester was founded in 2016. We started as a dog walking service to accommodate our deaf lurcher Spooky Boo, who had a spinal injury in 2015. We love dogs and we provide them with the best care possible. We are fully licenced and insured, and we have a spacious and secure facility for your furry friends.
We will treat your dog as our own, giving them plenty of cuddles, walks and playtime. You can rest assured that your dog will be happy and safe with us while you are away.
We’ve been dog owners for over 40 years, owning and walking quite a selection of dogs from toy to giant breeds (and everything in between), abled and ‘differently abled’. Dog rescue and animal welfare has formed a large part of mine and Tania’s lives and we were delighted to have fostered for Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue. Our latest rescue is Sally and despite training her to use a front wheelchair and prosthetic legs, she prefers to ride in style in her own dog buggy. Sally’s forelegs were severely damaged due to gunshot whilst she was on the streets in Tunisia leaving her permanently disabled (or as we like to say differently abled)!
Highlights have been teaching sign language to our deaf rescue Spooky Boo and rehabilitating her with my wife Tania, to walk again following a fall and a severe spinal injury. Also finally getting nervous Ozzy to come out from under the bed (he was there for 3 months popping out when no-one was looking) to becoming a fun loving dog with a huge personality. We’ve also been involved with ground breaking stem cell therapy for Peg, in an attempt to relieve her crippling osteoarthritis.
I’m an animal lover and a strong supporter of animal welfare. To me, all animals have the right to live and be treated kindly. I detest any form of animal abuse. Having spent many years in the caring profession, I have applied my knowledge to our furry friends. I hold OFQUAL Levels 2 & 3 in Professional Dog Boarding and Daycare.
Dog and camera crazy! Tan holds OFQUAL Level 3 in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare together with an Advanced Diploma in Photography. She has fund raised over £4,000 of donations in two years for overseas dog rescue and organised a half ton food donation for shelter dogs.
In 2015 after a fall she became paralysed from the waist down (only 10% of her spinal cord was working). After months of rehab she managed to walk again (in a fashion). She used a wheelchair to run again and had more shoes than Tan to protect her paws.
Rescued from a kill shelter in Romania having only three legs and one eye. In later years Peg suffered with severe arthritis and we undertook revolutionary stem cell treatment to try to maintain a good quality of life for as long as we could.
A Podenco cross from southern Spain. His formative years were spent in a shelter where he had very little experience of the outside world. Everything was scary when he first came to us, but now he is a fun loving dog (although strangers and traffic still worry him a little)
Sally is a Tunisian street dog who was shot when the municipal police were clearing the streets of dogs before the tourist season. Her forelegs were destroyed by gunshot, leaving her unable to use them. She gets around by using her elbows and a dog buggy for her outside ‘walks’.
A Romanian rescue with no bottom jaw (quite literally) and no teeth. Scrappy suffered from laryngeal paralysis and on three occasions we provided mouth to nose CPR to keep him breathing. He lived to be 15 years old and was an amazing little chap.
Half brother and sister and raised from pups until old age took it’s toll. We’d groom them every 7 weeks, but would never win any awards – they looked ridiculous but were comfortable and loved. We have a soft spot for anything ‘doodle’ and know where it comes from.
If you are looking for a trustworthy and affordable dog home boarding and daycare service in Worcester, look no further than us. We guarantee a professional and reliable service that meets your dog’s needs. We provide individual attention to your dog, including medications and supplements if needed, and reinforce their training. We also offer fun and stimulating activities for your dog, such as treat hunting in the sensory garden. We only walk on-lead to ensure your dog’s safety and well-being.
Tania is a passionate dog lover who has dedicated her time and skills to help rescue dogs find their forever homes. She has fostered and home checked dogs for various charities, both in the UK and abroad, and has a special affinity for street dogs. She is also a talented photographer who offers her services for free to dog rescue charities in Worcestershire, helping them showcase their dogs in the best light. She has also raised funds and donated food for dog shelters in need.
We offer a fully Council licenced, home-from-home for your dog in a safe, secure and fun environment – a great alternative to a traditional boarding kennel. See some of our happy guests in our gallery. All dogs stay as part of our extended family, having full access to our home and our bespoke dog sensory garden. We do not use kennels here, and dogs enjoy all the home comforts they are used to. We’re also pleased to offer portable refrigerated air conditioning to keep our furry clients cool in ever-increasing hot weather.
Please contact us if you would like to make an appointment to meet us, view our facilities, and discuss what we can offer. We would request that the owner’s dogs not accompany them if viewing the facilities to enable us to give you our full attention (we have very nosey resident dogs)!
We also offer doggy daycare, subject to availability.

When not walking, your dog has free access to our sensory garden and several sessions are set aside for 1-2-1 treat hunts, obedience, puzzle games and of course plenty of cuddles.
What else?
All disinfectants we use are pet safe. DAP collars and diffusers are available to help calm nervous dogs. We have a portable refrigerated air conditioning unit for hot days and a microchip scanner on site. We provide regular updates to owners letting them know how their dogs are settling in and enjoying their holidays!
All dogs will be required to attend a ‘meet and greet’ familiarisation/assessment session before booking, free of charge.
For any stays booked for three nights or more, dogs must undertake a one-off overnight ‘trial’ stay before their booking. This will be chargeable at our standard rates. This is a condition of our Council licence, helping us to maintain our higher standards of care.

Doggy day care is an excellent solution if you are working long hours and your dog is left home alone. Sometimes you may want a ‘day off’ or perhaps a ‘day out’ but worry about leaving your dog unattended. Instead of worrying, why not bring your dog to our ad hoc doggy day care. See some of our happy guests in our gallery.
We offer a fully licenced, small and personal boutique-style doggy daycare service in a home environment, ensuring your dog has a fun time whilst you are away, providing lots of enrichment activities, companionship, socialisation and walks. There are no children on the premises, all entry/exit points are double-gated for added safety and our large garden is fully secured. All cleaning products used around the dogs are DEFRA recommended as pet safe. We have strict welfare and well being policies in place in accordance with our Higher Awards Council Home Boarding licence (22/06365/ANIACT).
The health, happiness and well-being of the dogs who stay is of huge importance and the business is based around the 5 key freedoms of animal welfare under Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.
Your dog will start the day with a morning walk in local woodlands/meadows and return to DogFather HQ to spend the rest of the day taking part in numerous activities to stay engaged and stimulated. They may want to snooze, go on a treat hunt, play a puzzle game, tuck into to the dog friendly herbs in our sensory dog garden, chase a ball, dig in the sandpit, paddle in the pool, have a play with other dog buddies, chase the local pigeons who visit the garden or curl up on the sofa for a cuddle. Late afternoon, it’s time for another walk to finish the end of an exciting day.
Activities are planned to suit individual dog’s needs, so there is something for all dogs, whether young or old, active or more sedentary.
Our dog sensory garden can be separated to give all dogs space if needed and inside the home we have multiple rooms and dog beds to offer peace and quiet if a dog chooses.
Dogs are never left unattended.
