Walking is a vital part of a dog’s life and is an integral part of their daily exercise. However, we recognise that your lifestyle can alter after getting a dog, for example you may go back to work or perhaps you are suffering from an injury or disability. Whatever the reason, sometimes we all need a little extra help to fit everything into our day.
Scamps and Champs offer a premium dog walking service, where our animal care experts can come to your home and walk your dog for you, ensuring they have an engaging, fun and stimulating walk out in the fresh air. When your dog is exercised efficiently, they are healthier and any adverse behaviours are often minimised. To put it simply, your dog is happier when they are walked frequently! At Scamps and Champs we are here to help if you find getting out for a walk difficult for any reason. We offer a friendly, reliable and compassionate service, which can be tailored to suit your dog’s individual needs.
Scamps and Champs will never ‘pack walk’ your dog with multiple other dogs, as we fully understand how precious your pets are to you and therefore we believe in a caring service and treating each dog as if it was our own. We can offer you a regular or flexible dog walking service, each package is tailored to your individual needs and your dog’s personality. We will never walk your dog off the lead unless we have your consent and your dog displays a solid recall.
When using Scamps and Champs dog walking services you will always receive the following:
- Online Booking – we provide a quick and easy to use online booking system, so that you can book your dog in for their walk, whilst you are anywhere and at any time.
- GPS Location Check in Service – so that you know your pampered pup has arrived at their destination.
- GPS Route Tracker – you can access our GPS route tracker so that you can see where your dog is being walked and see that they are getting the walk you have been promised.
- Back up Dog Walkers – if due to unforeseen circumstances your dog walker is unable to attend the walk, we always have a backup dog walker organised so that your dog can still get out and go for their walk.
- Feedback Report – we will send you an electronic feedback report with photographs of your dog on their walk so you can see what they have been up to.
- Individualised Group Size – Scamps and Champs don’t believe in pack walking your dog in large groups. However, if they love company and would benefit from socialising with other dogs, then we are happy to pair your dog up with a walking buddy or two. Assuming everyone is getting on well with each other and that every dog is going to benefit from a group walk, we are happy to walk your dog with up to three other pup-pals.

Cats are extremely territorial animals and therefore they are naturally happiest in the comfort of their own home. However, Scamps and Champs recognise that you just can’t avoid having to go away from time to time, resulting in your cats needing to be looking after.
Scamps and champs offer a premium cat sitting service which takes place in your own home. Our animal care experts will come to your home, ensuring your furry-friends can stay within their familiar surroundings, whilst still being able to have their daily dose of fuss and cuddles. Whilst your purr-fect kitty is probably thoroughly enjoying being the ‘king of the castle’ whilst you are away, we swoop in to provide them with all of the services they could possibly need, fit for royalty, including lots of attention and company. We will come in once or twice a day, whichever you prefer, put fresh water and food down, change their littler tray and give them some treats if you would like us too. What kitty doesn’t love to be spoilt now and again!
As our Scamps and Champs cat sitters are in the house anyway taking care of your pawsome pal, if you need us to take care of anything else for you we are happy to accommodate your requests. These can include things like; shutting your curtains for you, watering your thirsty plants, turning lights off and generally keeping your house safe for you whilst you are away. If you have other pets at home in addition to cat sitting, we can offer our services to look after them too all at the same time.
Our caring service will take into consideration your cats personality, needs and routine and integrate this into your professional tailored cat sitting package. Where possible we will endeavour to feed your cat at their usual times, ensuring they only eat the food and quantities they are used to. We will make sure their bowls are clean and fresh every single time. If they like to be let outside we are happy to let them out, if you like your cats to be in at night time we will ensure that they are bought back inside ready for the evening. If any of your fur babies are on medication we can ensure that these are given at meal times for you, we recognise each cat is individual and therefore we tailor your cats care to suit their unique needs.
Whilst you are away we will send you photographs of your cats so that you can see how they are getting on at home and keep up to date with what they are up to, so you can enjoy your trip away knowing your kitties are happy and safe. They will probably feel like they are having their own fabulous mini break, filled with attention, cuddles and care!

Whilst we would all prefer to have our dogs with us one hundred percent of the time, there are always going to be those circumstances where we need to go away without them. Having to go away and leave our dog provides much anxiety for us humans regarding boarding kennels and about how this is going to affect our beloved canine companions. If only they could stay in the comfort of a home with someone giving them their undivided attention, complete care and individual walks!
This is where Scamps and Champs come in! We offer a dog home boarding service where your dog goes on their own small holiday, to live with one of our experienced host families in the comfort of their lovely home. There are no kennels or cages unless you take your own crate as that is your dog’s usual routine. They will be part of family life and be provided with large amounts of company and attention.
Unlike some other organisations where you have no direct contact or choice where your pet will be staying, we encourage you to visit our approved host families, when considering the service so that you can see first-hand where your dog will stay and be cared for. You are in complete control over which host family you select for your beloved pet, as we understand it needs to feel right and you need to feel comfortable that the setting is right for your dog. Only once you are happy with your host family choice, will we proceed with planning your dog’s stay with you.
Our pet home boarding service allows your pets routine to be catered for along you’re your dog’s individual requirements; such as dietary needs, meal times, walks and dispensing of any medications. We will discuss your dog’s requirements, routine and personality with you at length and make a plan for your dog’s stay that you are happy with. Your dog will never be walked off the lead unless written consent is obtained from you, signifying that you are completely happy for this to take place and that your dog can demonstrate a solid recall.
We believe that as pet owners you will want to be the one to drop your dogs off at their home boarding holiday and greet them with a big cuddle at the end. All pet boarding homes are fully vetted, licensed by the local council and insured. Your dog will also be treated as one of the family with all the love and affection you desire for your beloved furry family member.

If you are going away and you would like your pet to stay in the comfort of your own home whilst being looked after, then Scamps and Champs offer a pawsome pet sitting service! Our pet sitting service is often for people who are worried about asking family or friends, don’t want to put their pets in a kennel or cattery and are looking for a reliable, professional pet sitting service.
Whilst you are away, one of our experienced pet sitters will take excellent care of your pets in your own home, allowing your pets remain in their familiar surroundings. We will ensure that all of your pet’s usual routines are maintained, with additional loving companionship included.
We can visit your pets as many times a day as you need or stay overnight if you prefer, depending on your furry-friends individual needs. After every visit we then send you a feedback report which updates you on the visit and includes photos of your pets enjoying their time with their new pet sitter pal.
All visits are tracked by GPS for your peace on mind and checked regularly by the office, we have an online scheduling system to monitor visits daily. So that you are reassured that you are receiving the pet sitting service that we have promised to you with confidence.

Our overnight pet sitting service is perfect for those of you who would like round the clock care for your beloved pets whilst you are away. Accompanied with the peace of mind that both your pet and home are being cared for, throughout the duration of your stay-away.
Scamps and Champs pet sitting service helps ensure that your pet has constant company, attention and affection, whilst you are away. In addition, you are provided with the reassurance that your home is secure and being looked after with care.
We can provide other services within your home such as; bringing in your post, closing the curtains in the evening and watering your plants for you. Scamps and Champs pet sitters provide their own food and drink and only use appliances in your home if you are comfortable with it and prior permission from you has been obtained.
Overnight pet sitting services start between 5.30pm and 7.30pm and then finish in the morning twelve hours later. You will be provided with an online GPS tracker so that you can see where your best-friend is at all times, for peace of mind.
Morning and evening walks are provided for dogs in a familiar location of your choice. Dogs will not be let off the lead unless they can demonstrate a solid recall and we have written consent from you, that you are happy for this to take place.
