You dogs health and welfare is of up most importance!!

All new dogs must attend an initial behavioural assessment to ensure they are happy and comfortable in a daycare setting and are sociable and well mannered towards other dogs. We will decline acceptance into daycare should we feel that daycare is not a good fit for them. Also if any dogs show any negative behaviour changes whilst attending daycare at any point, we will evaluate whether continuation in daycare is the best for the dog, the other dogs in our group and our staff.

All dogs must also be up to date with all their annual vaccinations, and evidence of this must be presented to Reception staff at their initial assessment. These must also be updated on an annual basis and reported to our staff. This also includes Vet recommended Flea & Worm treatments.

All dogs that attend daycare are monitored for their basic welfare needs each day, some of these include:

  • Toileting / Drinking water / Socialising with other dogs /  Any health concerns / Any behavioural adjustments required and how we managed them / Rest periods

  • Lots of fun play, Stimulation and Socialisation.

  • Constant access to clean, fresh water.

  • Cosy and readily accessible areas for those dogs who want ‘quiet time’.

  • Walks available on request.

  • Supervised at all times.

  • Welfare needs assessed daily.

  • We are fully insured by Protectivity Pet Business Insurance, which includes Dog Daycare, Dog Walking, Dog Grooming and key holding.

  • 5 Star Licensed by our local Herefordshire Council to board up to 40 dogs in Doggy Day Care and also complying with all of DEFRA’s required legislation published in October 2018.
