I am situated in a unique position in the delightful downland village of Jevington, surrounded by the Sussex countryside.

This affords me the opportunity to take ‘Dogs as Guests’ in my own home, I cater mostly for working dog breeds as that is my field of interest and experience . They live as part of the family, not in kennels, for the duration of their stay with me. The ultimate in 5 star care provided on a day, overnight or weekly basis.

I am Licensed and inspected by the local authority, holding a 5 star rating, fully insured and qualified in Dog First Aid and Emergency Canine Care, Diploma in Canine Communication and Dog Training and am currently studying Ofqual Level 3 in Canine Care Behaviour and Welfare.

The service I offer to dog owners is unique. Whether you are going on holiday, moving home or having a weekend away, you need to know that your dog will be cared for in a stress free environment. Visiting dogs stay as guests in our home, and are treated as part of the family.

My property is protected with CCTV cameras at both entrances with internal camera’s in the dog areas . Situated within a National Park, and having the benefit of my own 4 acres securely fenced , it is a delightful rural retreat and provides safe free exercise and training . My business is based on the belief that dog owners want to know that their loyal companion is in a friendly and caring environment in their absence. Invariably kennels do not tick these boxes.

As a result, referrals and repeat business makes up a high percentage of my visitors.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements and would be delighted to welcome your dog as a guest in our home. I also take dogs on a daily basis, for those who work and require their dog to be with for just one day, either ad lib or on a regular basis. I am entirely flexible and offer 5 star care in my own home and am licensed as registered home boarder by the local authority and insured.

Chapel Farm Dog Food

I am now a stockist for Chapel Farm Dog Food . This was born out of working my own Labradors and training my two youngest, who are completely different in terms of temperament and nutritional need. Purdey at 20 months whilst fully grown is a fire cracker ! She needs nutrition but not high energy at this stage, and the Original 20 is perfect for her. Burt my youngest at 9 months is a very laid back character but needs protein to grow and develop and energy to cope with training and play time., so Performance 24+ is perfect for him after puppy food.
