The Positive Puppy Trainer

I live in Horsforth, North Leeds with, two cockerpoos, two children, one husband and a cat! Originally from Sussex, I have lived in towns & villages all over England, Scotland and Wales, but we’ve lived here for 18 years now and I am very glad my children are growing up in beautiful Yorkshire.

I have wanted to work with dogs since I can remember, (it was definitely in the genes) and amongst other careers over the last 30 years, ranging from the theatre to accountancy, I ran my own dog walking business. Finally, though I have ended up with my dream job – training puppies!

I am absolutely committed to keeping dogs out of rescue wherever it’s possible. By teaching and helping you, the owner, to understand how your dog thinks, learns and responds, you will be able to communicate more successfully with your dog, and teach your puppy polite and helpful behaviours that will stand him in good stead for life. A dog should be a joy to have around – our classes will show you how this is possible and perhaps a lot easier than you think!
