I’m Alex Smith, (and I was) The Positive Puppy Trainer.

Over the last 6 years I have worked with over 2000 puppies & their owners! All of those people & puppies have been taught using kind and gentle techniques where success is celebrated, and everyone is helped to understand what is required, and how good it can feel to get it right.  

Sadly, at the end of 2022, I have hung up my training kit for good. The pressures of rising costs and diminishing business as everyone struggles with bills has meant that I can no longer afford to keep the business running and have had to return to a ‘proper’ job…

I’ve absolutely loved my time as a trainer.  I want to say a huge thank you to every single puppy I’ve helped – they have all brought me such joy and delight – I will miss that more than anything.
