Hello my name is Melanie.

I offer pet care services to the surrounding areas of Leicester and Leicestershire, taking care of your pets the way you do.

My love for animals and passion for their welfare extends back to my Yorkshire roots, and my upbringing in the Yorkshire countryside.

I spent many happy years as a youngster taking care of sick animals that I had found abandoned. I also dedicated my free time, helping and taking care of the varied animals at my school animal farm. Also helping the school caretaker raise and train his German Shepherd show dogs and puppies.

I have experience owning and raising my own pets, with extensive knowledge in training young dogs and puppies.I am known for having a natural way with animals. Adopting the nickname ‘Ms Dolittle’!

I am an enthusiastic, loyal, hardworking and dedicated to my profession.I have full respect for my client’s pets, as well as understanding the importance of knowing how valuable our beloved pets are to us.

My qualifications and training include:
City & Guilds professional, expert, dog walking and observation qualification.
Purina pet nutrition qualification.
Qualified vet training, with handling various pets in various situations.
Administration of medication.
Safe transportation in a fully equipped pet taxi/ambulance.
Level 2 First Aid Trained.
