Hello, I’m Jules, and I would like to welcome you and your wonderful pets to Animals at Home (Taunton & South Somerset).
I live in Taunton and I share my home with my two gorgeous dogs, a black Labrador called Apollo and a Collie Cross called Alfie, alongside three beautiful cats, Molly, Olly Purs, and Sirius; a tortoise called Ivy, and a gecko called William. Prior to this I lived on the Blackdown Hills with a menagerie of animals including ducks and rescued ex-battery hens. In the past I have welcomed into my home a variety of small fluffies including guinea pigs, rabbits, a mouse, hamster and an adorable ferret called Ulrich.
I have always loved and wanted to work with animals and when the opportunity of joining Animals at Home came along I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do and the perfect career move. I couldn’t think of anything nicer than spending every day with animals. Previously I have worked in a variety of roles as a health care professional, including managing an orthodontic practice, but my passion has always been animals, their wellbeing and the great outdoors.
I am able to provide a broad range of animal care services, from dog walking, cat care and pet sitting, to home stays and a taxi service for local vet visits, trips to kennels and catteries, or relocation further afield if you are moving home. I am Animal First Aid qualified and take a keen interest in pet anatomy and nutrition.
I have a fully equipped DEFRA authorised animal ambulance and hold a Type 2 Welfare in Transit animal transport license, so I can offer a safe, secure and comfortable journey for your pets.
My public service experience and love of animals great and small combine to offer the best possible personal service for you and your pets.
I operate across the Taunton area and throughout South Somerset and look forward to hearing from you if I can be of assistance.
