My Animals ay Home franchise was established on 12^th November 2013.  We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, caring, professional service in Hucknall, Arnold, Mapperley, Heanor, Langley Mill, Eastwood, Nuthall, Kimberley, Amber valley, Awsworth, Basford, Bestwood, Bulwell, Brinsley, Ilkeston, Jacksdale, Loscoe, Newstead, Pinxton, Ravenshead, Sherwood, Top valley, Underwood.

Hi, we are Tracey and Gary Glover, welcome to AAH North Notts Ltd. We have lived together for 25 years in a village called Kimberley in Nottingham. I work full time for the business, Gary has a full-time job working for a software company but helps me out whenever he can.

We sadly now have only two pets, my Jakey boy passed away in June 2020.

I have one duck called Ronnie we hatched from an egg 11 years ago. He was not always on his own he did have a brother, two sisters and 6 chickens. He is quite happy on his own now though we got him some mirrors and he will happily sit by them each day looking at himself and of course he has us to keep him company every day. We let him out in the garden with us when we can.

Last but not least our dog Bobby he was a furry friend of ours for a few years, we hosted him on a regular basis, but circumstances changed in his family life and his owners wanted him to go to a good home. He is now part of our furry/feathered family. He keeps in touch with his former human family they pop in to see him when they can.

I have a Doggy day care centre, which I run from my own home. We had our garage converted into a doggy day room in 2015 which has taken off really well. All the dogs I take care of love to come and play and see their friends. We have paddling pool parties in the summer, dress up for Birthdays, Halloween, and Christmas.

We have both received professional animal training at a RCVS veterinary hospital, including first aid, animal handling, hygiene. We have a fully equipped Animal Ambulance which is DEFRA approved and hold a Type 2 Animal Transportation Authorisation allowing us to take pets locally and across the UK in comfort and safety.

My premises have been Inspected and issued a 5rating Licence for Home Boarding and Doggy Day Care from Broxtowe Borough Council. We are also fully insured and have police disclosures for our home visits. I know all the pets have their own personalities, and needs, that is why each pet we take care of is given their very own care plan tailored especially for them.

I was a customer with Animals at Home, before I started my very own Animals at Home North Notts franchise, so I know the peace of mind it brings, having your pets stay in their family home, being looked after by highly experienced animal lovers.
