My name is Celia Callan, I’m a Companion Animal Behaviour Counsellor, and I have been running my behaviour clinic, puppy, and dog training classes for nearly twenty years. I have a postgraduate diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from Southampton University. I am based in the Wylye Valley, near Warminster/Salisbury and I run classes in Warminster on Monday/Tuesday evenings, Stratford-sub-Castle on Wednesday evenings and in Wilton on Friday evenings. The classes run for an hour and the courses runs for six weeks. There is a maximum number of six puppies per course and the puppies must be vaccinated to start a course and under five months of age.Owners will learn very useful training techniques such as lead work, recall, sit, down, stay, stand, good manners like not jumping up and preventing play biting to name a few things.I would love it if you could get involved and come and see my classes and even have a go at the course if you have a puppy yourself. Then you can see how good the classes are and hopefully recommend the classes to your family and friends. If you would like any more information about the classes, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I would be more than happy to discuss the classes further.
www.puppyschool.co.ukI am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) (
www.apdt.co.uk), a registered animal training instructor (
www.abtc.org.uk) and a member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) (
www.apbc.co.uk).I run puppy classes (
www.puppyschool.co.uk), adult dog training classes and do one to one training using positive, reward-based training methods.I have learnt dog training techniques from the very best trainers including Gwen Bailey (
www.dogproblemssolved.com). I have always had dogs in my life ever since I can remember. I couldn’t imagine what life would be without one.
I grew up with various different breeds around me, although I can’t say I have any favourite breeds, as all dogs are great to me.
At present, I have a black Labrador puppy. My interest in animals, lead me to study Animal welfare, Animal Science and a post graduate degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling at Southampton University.
I would like to share my knowledge with others and help owners and their dogs have a happy relationship and enjoy life together, as it should be. I look forward to seeing you at my classes.
