At Barks, Bubbles & Bows, we offer a friendly, caring and professional holistic dog grooming and spa service. We are located in Sonning-on-Thames, providing grooming services to areas such as Sonning, Sonning Eye, Twyford, Charvil, East Reading, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Winnersh, Marlow, and Earley.
The safety and happiness of your dog is of the utmost importance to us. We always perform a pre-groom health check and consult with you before each groom, ensuring that not only does the groom match your expectations, but your dog feels very safe and comfortable for current and future appointments.
Barks, Bubbles & Bows only use top quality products that contain no artificial ingredients. Shampoos and conditioners are all natural and nontoxic. We make sure they are free of parabens, sulphates, and phthalates. The products are PH balanced for canines, insuring against infection and the drying out of skin and fur.
Our grooming studio is a purpose built, bespoke trailer designed between ourselves and the UK’s number 1 mobile dog grooming studio design and build company. Our studio provides the best environment for your dog, including:

A window positioned to allow the dog to view the outside whilst being groomed, providing a light and airy atmosphere.

Complete insulation, allowing the studio to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

A temperature controlled heating system to insure the warmth of your treasured pet.

An extra large and deep tub, to prevent any dog from jumping out and therefore keeping your pet as safe and secure as possible.

A continuous water heating system, ensuring a wonderful warm water massage.

Grooming Treatments
Full Groom
Includes a double shampoo – to ensure a perfectly clean coat – followed by a polished cut and style of your choice. Ears are cleaned and claws clipped. A conditioning cologne is then sprayed on your happy puppy.
Spa Treatments
Mud Bath
A lovely after bath treatment massaged into the dogs coat and skin and then rinsed off, leaving the coat extra shiny and soft. This treatment combats skin fungus and repels fleas and ticks.
Bath and Dry
A fabulous sudsy bath and blow dry with the coat thoroughly brushed out, keeping matts at bay until the next ‘Full Groom’.
De-shed Treatment
A shampoo and treatment that helps
lift up and soften the undercoat, so
when the dog is dried the undercoat
can be easily removed.
Sea Salt Conditioning Treatment
Perfect treatment for itchy dry skin.
Ear Fur Removal
Paw Treatment
Good for dry and cracked paws. Contains an enzyme that helps soften, smooth, repair and thicken paw pads. Followed by a fabulous wax treatment.
Doggy Facial
A facial treatment to remove bacteria around the eyes and face without eye irritation.
Fresh Breath Treatment
Less stressful than a teeth cleaning. A plaque softening gel is rubbed on the teeth, left for half an hour, and followed by the application of a fresh breath spray. When hard food is chewed, the plaque will slowly be removed.
